Well, you've read the notes, the notes were Capitol, and now it is time for you to post until the Capitol cows come home.

Last night's "An Improbable Peck of Plays 3D" had a full house!  However, a quarter of them were the Japanese students who got a $2 discount and four of them were performing their one-act and got in for free (as they should)...but it was totally full!  And everyone enjoyed it.  The only problem was that Andy, the stage manager (a kid of only 19 years old), was supposed to have a key to lock up The Midnight Sun after the show, but his dad took his (Andy's) car keys, and his key to The Sun was on the key ring!  AND NO ONE ELSE HAD A KEY TO LOCK UP THE THEATER! :o The couple of people who opened the theater had left by then.  It wasn't until the last stragglers were leaving that we realized that no one still there had a key.  Several of us started texting people who had keys and had left, and eventually TAO's new vice president (who was supposed to have had the building re-keyed a couple of months ago ::) ) was able to come down and lock things up.  I and three of the actors and one of their friends stayed at the theater until our VP was able to get there.  We were only there about 45 minutes longer than usual, so it wasn't a horrible situation.  Although, if we wouldn't have been able to get a hold of anyone who could come down, we were actually willing to spend the night...but fortunately, it wasn't necessary.

Good morning, all! I slept well until 4:30, then lay wide awake for some time pondering the whereabouts of all the Jerome Kern scores of mine that I have been unable to locate in the office. I suspect they got sent to the Library of Congress with the McGlinnventory and i will never get them back.  That bothers me.

So, this morning our DR ChasSmith is kindly driving into Manhattan, and we will meet Anthony (and perhaps DR Ben, too) at Toyland, cart down the boxes of my possessions to the street and drive them uptown to my apartment. More clutter. I can then, in the next month, carry home books and things still sitting ton the shelves, but I'm grateful that the heavy part will be finished.

Tomorrow, I recover.

Well, as I knew would happen, I've slept about ninety minutes so far.  Could not fall asleep at all, then woke up at four.  So, I shaved and got that out of the way, and in a little while I'll try and get another two or three hours of sleep.

Good morning from National Airport.  My flight to Buffalo leaves at 10 am. It looks cloudy and I think there's rain in the forecast in Buffalo too.

I just saw that a piece of cardboard with Ethel Merman's name and cartoon image just sold on Ebay for $3,606.56. You'd think they's throw in the shipping.

Forecast is for rain today.....and I have some things to do on the computer....and it is the last mail day for two  days....maybe something exciting will come.

I did get my new ordination card yesterday.....so if anything happens, like a wedding or a baptism or a christening pops up, I can jump in and help.
