I really have nothing new to watch, so I'll probably start doing the final edit on my novel. We're hoping to have it available for holiday giving.

Next weekend, I'm in McKinney, TX, for the Spirit of the Cowboy Festival. Dan Haggerty and Bo Hopkins, who were both in CHEYENNE WARRIOR, will also be there.

The weather has been so hot the last week. Today it is going to be in the 90s. I think it is supposed to cool down starting tomorrow. It has been crazy to be September and have it be so hot.

DR KATE - some good movies on that list.

The St Louis Bank Robbery is very interesting....one of Steve McQueen's first movies - based on a real incident with some of the people who were involved in the event playing themselves.

Shot on location.....it's one of my favorite caper films.

Well, Dear Readers, I will tell you that our Act One....which is actually the book Act One (Two Scenes) and half of Act Two....will run about 119 minutes.... This of course means that with a regular intermission, our play will run until about 11:08 p.m.

That is, of course, assuming that people will come back to their seats for Act Two....since it will be after 10 p.m. when intermission happens.

SO - fewer people will see me in Act Two....than will have seen Act One. They won't even know I was in the show!

I think that's what I dislike most about amateur theatre - slow pacing, blackouts, and endless scene changes.

The other day I viewed, for the first time, MEET ME IN LAS VEGAS starring Dan Dailey and Cyd Charisse...I always forget how wonderful both actors are.

This is one 1950s musical I had not seen before, and I am sorry I had missed it. Lovely film. The picture quality wasn't as clear as I would have liked, but still, it was quite pretty!
