When the producer comes to visit, I'll try to get up there for a day or two, but don't know that I can swing more than that.   I do want to spend some time with him.  He's a nice guy.  When he was in junior high, he decided it was time to give up this really cool electric train set.  His dad brought it over and gave it to my brother who was a little kid at the time.   The funny thing is, my brother still has the train, set up in the basement of his office,

Sorry to be E and T. Didn't realize I haven't been posting all week.  I'm exhausted.  I'm trying to get everything done at the office and there's just too much for me to do.  We had a high volume of stuff when Edith left and there have been some things I"ve had to correct and redo since she left.  I think if I just get through September things will slow down enough that I can try to hire someone. Right now I don't have the time to train them.  So 6-7 days a week for a few more weeks and I should be in good shape.

Band started Wednesday night.  It was so nice to be back with everyone.  I moved from the second row of flutes to the first row.  For this concert I'm second chair.  Our first chair has a wedding the day of our first concert.  It's where they started me three years ago when I definitely wasn't ready to play that music. Now I am.

Well, I've never seen this show so I don't know anything about it.

I've seen seasons one and two. It's excellent. I am anxiously awaiting season 3's dvd release next week.

I should probably watch it and find out why it is so popular.  I just don't want to watch a show about people in prison. 

Well, don't get the idea that it's a comedy because it really isn't, even though that was teh category at the Emmys

I watched season one a few months ago when the dvd came out. I also was very curious.  It's not my favorite series. But it was quite interesting.  I don't really think that you would like it but you never know.  Some of the prison stuff was quite good.  Not sure if i will watch season 2.

Reading about it I didn't think it was funny.

It's not a comedy. But it's not a totally serious drama either. There are some funny elements.  I think that they thought they could win in the comedy catetory (which they didn't).
