"Kick-Off" or "Rally" Sundays signal the start of the new program year. Church schools and choirs start up again, etc., etc.

We make a point of talking about it now we understand that people go on vacation and have myriad activities on summer weekends but the church is always there so we remind people about summer giving and our Rally Day is the call that its time for everyone to come on back home - and start digging back in
