The old two a day.

Vaudeville is back at the Palace....and I'm on the bill!!!!!

Tonight is our family night for THE MAN which will be even more interesting because we haven't had a rehearsal in three days.

I hope everyone looked at HIS book.

George, I saw "Russian Ark" a few years ago and found it fascinating. I love that you can see people leave their character part and just walk off set and still get involved in the theatricality of it all. Of course, it helps that I have very little knowledge of Russian history.

I know nothing about Russian history. :-\ I am more interested in the movie-making aspect...mainly the fact that it's a single shot.  My dad is interested in both the single shot and the history aspect.  He loves history.  After he retired from the army, he got a BA in history. :)

And now, I'm off.  I took my car in to get serviced (it should only be a couple of hundred dollars), but I left my jacket in my car. :P I'm going to the Puyallup Fair today, so I need something to wear.  Hopefully, I have a light jacket that clean enough.

Be back later!

Happy Monday, all!

I'll admit to be a bit exhausted myself after yesterday's Kritzerland marathon, but it was SOOO worth it. What a great show! Both audiences loved it, everyone was on their game and then some.

BK, I am so glad you talked me into doing "Joey, Joey, Joey". Richard Sherman gave me the ultimate compliment on that last night, saying it was the best version he'd ever heard, because the story it told was so clear in the delivery. I was so very honored.

And of course, I cannot thank you enough for asking me to sing "Finishing the Hat" again. It was a gift from the theater gods... and of course, the Kritzerland god.  :D

And Bravo to you, BK, in putting together such a wonderful collection of music and laughter and entertainment. I loved being a small part of it.

My grandfather always had a pair of brown Whippets when I was growing up.  They were very calm and sweet.  The calmness was probably due to the fact my grandfather walked them for miles and miles every day.

Back from a cup of chili and a chicken salad sandwich - this time it was excellent - but, taking no chances, they brought me a tiny cup of it to make sure it was the way I like it.

DR Jane, that reminds me of that Ellen Degeneres joke:

“My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was sixty. She's ninety-seven now, and we don't know where the heck she is.”

;D

I was often amazed the places my mother & I would see him walking as we drove past.  We never stopped and he didn't see us but it was fun to spy him. :)  He died just before his 100th birthday.  I think he would have made to 100 if he hadn't had two events that slowed him down drastically.  First he was mugged (dogs couldn't keep up with him anymore) and second he was hit by a car.  The last time I saw him he was using a walker and I took him for a walk.  He glowed he was so happy.

I got the old person's pneumonia vaccination today.  They asked if I wanted a flu shot but I turned it town.  I'm only risking one reaction at a time.

We went to Rite-Aid and they had remodeled the store.  It looks great only the chemicals from the work need to air out a bit more.  Between the smoke and the store I wasn't sure I should be getting a vaccination, but I did anyway.  I feel fine.

I had to laugh - Broadway World put up our new release announcement.  At the top of the page it says vote for your favorite recordings from this year.  One of the categories is best favorite solo album of all time.  Visit and look at the list and tell me what's wrong with that picture.  I'll tell you - any list that does not include any of Liz Callaway's solo albums is a list made by idiots.  Not to mention Laurie Beechman or, well, you name it, basically.  Why they do these stupid popularity flavor of the month contests is beyond me.  But the omissions, and not only stuff I've produced for some of the best singing artists ever, is shocking.

I have never seen these in U.S. stores...

This is it. But the kind i like is black forest with a chocolate bottom and a cherry filling.  For store-bought they are very yummy.

I don't think I would like the Black Forest Whippets.

If you like cherry flavor and oreo cookie crumbs then you would probably like it.  I really do not like store bought processed cookies very much. But these are super tasty.
