Well, you've read the notes, the notes smelled and had vision, and now it is time for you to post until the smelly cows come home.

Good morning, all! DR George, I loved the Calvous Clie comment.

Well, news continues bad: Encores! is now vacillating on what job I should do, or if the money should be spent at present, so my unemployment continues. Between this and the Albany Symphony job falling through, yesterday was a really pathetic day. What makes it worse is that I think a filling in one of my back molars has fallen out, and I cannot afford the trip to the NYU Dental Clinic until next Wednesday when I get my social security payment.

So, much as I'd rather stay in bed forever, I have to run to Toyland, scan a Cole Porter song and email it to London to John Wilson. I cannot stay there long because Fed Ex is delivering the final masters of the ROBERTA CDs and I will play them as soon as they are in my hands.

Good morning, all.

An okay sleep, I guess.  Staying in bed a while longer, though, before starting to do things that must be done.

Great vibes galore to DR Elmore for a quick turnaround on yesterday's disappointing fortunes.

And for the nonce, tooth vibes galore!

There's a a lot of galore in this post.  I just noticed that.

It is interesting to find out which food items are not available in the US. I had no idea that whippets were only found here.  Similarly when i was a kid i had no idea that Smarties were Canadian. They are such a good chocolate (one of my favorites).

George -- my previous name wasn't much different: BwayPhan Angela

Singdaw -- thanks for the welcome back!

Jennifer -- I used to love reading your Varese Sarabande newsletters/commentary.  My family hails from Montreal!  All the talk about home made cookies, made me think of a donut my Aunt used to make -- Pet d' Soeur.  Nothing like that around these dusty parts of Central California!

Years ago -- Whippets used to be called Mae West.  Mom and her Sister used to sing a silly song about them, but it was in french.  I don't have a clue how it went.

TOD:

Grapes, the green kind.

Lately, I have been eating a lot of rasberries and blueberries as toppings for cereal.

I keep seeing Dragon Fruit at the supermarket, but it is kind of expensive, so haven't tried it yet. I hear it is good and good for you!

Over the weekend I watched ON MOONLIGHT BAY and BY THE LIGHT OF THE SILVERY MOON. I used to love those films when I was a kid.

I still loved BY THE LIGHT OF THE SILVERY MOON, but ON MOONLIGHT BAY was just sort of ok.

There is no kind of fruit that I don't like. [Quiet from the peanut gallery!]

I'd have to say that my favorites are pineapple and strawberries.

For any who might be interested, the 1965 RODGERS AND HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA starring Lesley Ann Warren releases on DVD today.

I have vague memories of seeing this on television when I was just a little tike.
