Sorry, DR MBarnum, I passed that up on the boat.  We're in crepe country here in Montparnasse.

My question for ASK BK Day:

If you could do a commentary for the BLuRay/DVD of any film....which film would it be? (Even if there is already one in release)

Thanks DR SINGDAW and DR MBARNUM - no such scene appears in the play, but it's a funny picture.

Maybe North by Northwest, but certainly Li'l Abner, should it ever be released, which is pretty doubtful.

Good morning - Our first run with the orchestra was rocky at best.  I couldn't hear things clearly, the cast couldn't hear us well, the mix in my headphones was SOOOO off that I heard people talking in the dressing rooms, etc.  I'm told tonight will get better.  The orchestra is great and we are having a great time.  The show is great also.  Tonight we have a small audience of a cast from another show that can't see our show because we run at the same time.  It's still a rehearsal.  But then again, is life a rehearsal?

Great Dollar Tree story, too. They're better than Walmarts for such stories.

I think he does DR FJL.....he has mentioned this to the assistant director.

Last night, our lead actually did a good job....well compared to previously....our first act...with MOST of the lines...now runs about 97 minutes and the second act is always 47 minutes...so we are doing okay.

Banjo made his fat appearance on the front page of the Banner Graphic today.

That's a great picture, Jrand!

Our room looks out toward the tower, but not THE tower:

Nice view, Ginny!

Wouldn't that be great, especially if you could get Peter Palmer and Leslie Parrish in on it!

a BK commentary on LiL Abner would be great.
Thanks DR JOHN G and DR GEORGE....in the actual play.....I have just asked Lorraine: "How's the mattress business?"

And in the actual play she snaps my suspenders and says: "It's too bad your pictures aren't as funny as you seem to think you ARE!"

In all, not a bad day, but the lady at the local Fed Ex office is not the brightest bulb in the lamp. I got there at 10:00 and the package had nto yet arrived so I went to Rodgers & Hammerstein, photocopied what I wanted from Chee-Chee and headed back uptown. I stopped in at Fed Ex and was told by the same lady I'd seen in the morning that the package was not there, so I called Fed Ex, got the manager Andrew, who'd been so helpful yesterday afternoon when i was ready to kill, and he said, yes. It's there, arrived at 12:27.

So, he spoke to the idiot woman who'd claimed not 10 minutes before that the package was not there, she muttered a few things, and then she got it for me.

I'm now listening to the mastered CDs. They sound good.

That IS a great Dollar Tree story.  Jack now knows where he can spend all his time when his retirement keeps him at home more often than not.

I had expected Netflix to send us something on Friday when we signed up-nothing.  On Monday they shipped two DVD's which didn't arrive until today.  Their service used to be 1 day.  I wish I knew if our local warehouse has been closed, still if they were shipped from Salem or Portland 1 day should have been sufficient.

If you have Netflix, how many days does it take to receive your DVD?

If I return a disc on Monday (I bring it to work and put it in our mail), I usually would get a new disc on Wednesday.
