Back from a good pastrami sandwich and lunch with Barry Pearl.  Also had two potato pancakes and a bit of kishka so definitely not eating anything else.

Thanks George.

That equals one day from them to you.  Maybe these two discs came from elsewhere but they used to tell us that the disc would take longer to arrive.

In all, not a bad day, but the lady at the local Fed Ex office is not the brightest bulb in the lamp. I got there at 10:00 and the package had nto yet arrived so I went to Rodgers & Hammerstein, photocopied what I wanted from Chee-Chee and headed back uptown. I stopped in at Fed Ex and was told by the same lady I'd seen in the morning that the package was not there, so I called Fed Ex, got the manager Andrew, who'd been so helpful yesterday afternoon when i was ready to kill, and he said, yes. It's there, arrived at 12:27.

So, he spoke to the idiot woman who'd claimed not 10 minutes before that the package was not there, she muttered a few things, and then she got it for me.

I'm now listening to the mastered CDs. They sound good.

I love idiot people. They keep the dentists in business because of all the teeth gnashing I do.

No time for lunch today. So, all I had were celery sticks and mini Reese's Cups.

And I've listened to the finished product. I'm very proud of my work and the cast and orchestra. Rob Berman does a great job and I'm so lucky that his show fell though and he was free to do the recording.

Here's my Dollar Tree story, only it's the local supermarket this morning:

After waiting in line for about 10 minutes, I finally got my items on the conveyor belt. I finally get to the head of the line. As the customer in front of me gets their receipt, the register paper runs out. So the clerk puts in a new roll of paper, which crashes the register. "We're closing the lane, folks!" So I gather up my items, putting them back into the cart, but by this time all the people behind me in the line have scattered and joined other open lines, so I am back at the end of another line and have to wait ANOTHER 10 minutes to check out.

I know, first-world problem. But it was still annoying.        :)

If you were in the front of the line you should have been taken to another one for your proper spot.  It is annoying.

The sound on my computer is not very good, making it impossible for me to listen to most musical videos on the internet.  This is why Bruce I do not comment on the ones you share in the notes.

I checked out the new iPhone models - once upon a time the idea was the smaller the cell phone the more optimal.  Now it's suddenly bigger, bigger, bigger.  I have to check out the watch thing, although I haven't ever worn a watch so it's not something I'd ever need.  Dick Tracy did it years ago, of course.
