Time to head to the theater...I'm ushering for a block party at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts. It'll essentially just be crowd control. Easy as pie.

Well, tonight's "ushering" was easier than easy. We basically just sat there. The event was a bunch of local businesses on the block were open and people could mingle through them, while four different bands performed in front of The Center. We ushers just sat on chairs at the door and directed people to the bathroom while listening to the bands. I got there for the second shift, so I heard the last two bands. They were both pretty good...loud (even from behind), but good.
