Attachments: Photos not sticking
« on: October 24, 2003, 10:50:03 AM »

I have tried many times today to attach a photo to a message.

The photo is 20KB and is a .jpg.

I use the browse feature, I locate and select the photo, but double-clicking so that the location information appears in the Attachment box, and then I press Save.

And nothing.

What am I missing????

Hm. I just saw that you posted a photo in today's daily discussion thread. It appears you now have the hang of it after all?

It would seem so....I opened the photo in Adobe Photo Workship and saw it was much larger than I thought.

BUT....what am I missing out on regarding the size when it relates to the photo BK posted of himself and June Wilkinson...and that poster for "Attack of the 50-Foot Woman" (or whatever the title) at the top of today's page 2?  Is it the "type" of file?  Are those, perhaps, .gif files?

Size matters...especially when it comes to great poster art!  :D

I'm learning...but I'm slow.

HI Mark,
I am definately having troubles trying to add a photo to a message. I have tried and tried, but ends up just a blank space!

I do the browse thing and I have shrunken the pic down, but it still doesn't want to work.

It seems as if the solution to this problem is to not preview your message if you are attaching a file to it. Simply publish that comment or reply without preview. You can always go back to modify the post at any time.
