I'm still pondering my day. I had an email scare that my computer to spite me had reverted to its behavior before my Mac Man John solved my problems yesterday, but it turned out to be a needless fright. That was a big relief, but I'm still unhappy with the way the day is going.

I need something really good to happen.

My brother went to The University of Miami for awhile. That was when Hee Haw was on the air. He used to watch it and tell everyone that's what it was like back home in Iowa. Some people actually believed him, lol

DR JEANNE I have always had good success with EyeBuyDirect for glasses by mail. Their measurements are very accurate. All you need is a copy of your prescription....and their prices are reasonable and they have LOTS of frame choices.

Jack, thanks for the feedback. It helps to know others who have had good experiences.

WarbyParker offers a free five-day try-on, which I find quite attractive. I have a good idea of what will fit me and please me, but there's nothing like trying the frames on first. I'm thinking I'll try them for my reading glasses--a single-vision lens. Progressives are another story.
