After he goes, it's off to Target for Partners (the new CD)!

I wonder if Costco has it.  I need to go there anyway, so I'll check.  However, what they have in stock for CDs and DVDs has really gotten slim in the last few years. :-\

I went to Costco at my lunch time and they had no music CDs at all. :P

My credit union cancelled my debit card due to the long ago breach at Target.

And they cancelled the replacement debit card that they sent to me last week, which I hadn't even used yet, due to the breach at Home Depot.  :'(

Is anyone at HHW watching the new reality-type show UTOPIA?

It is sort of, kind of interesting, as a human personality experiment.

After two breaches do you really want to use your debit card again?

I never use my debit card at stores.  I only use mine at my bank's ATM.  Always use cash or credit card at stores.

That's really hard to say, DR MBarnum, but there was one place I could have stayed a lot longer than we did - Pont du Gard, the Roman aqueduct.  There's a nice visitor center and, if we'd been on our own, we'd have spent some time there and watched the informational movie.  We'd have taken a picnic lunch and maybe hiked a bit more around the site.  We were quite rushed that morning because it was the first of three major stops that day.

George, Target is the only place selling the "special edition," which has an additional new duet and 4 previously-released duets.

Well, I could use a credit card instead, but the same thing would happen. I just don't carry much cash on me and there is no way I am going back to writing checks at the store.

I still don't know why, and they couldn't explain it to me, they cancelled the unused debit card. In addition to never having been used, I never shop at the store that had the breach.

TOD - The week following Hurricane Ike's visit to SW Ohio on September 14, 2008.  The wind that Sunday afternoon knocked out power all over the Cincinnati/Dayton area and our power company had sent crews to Texas and Louisiana in anticipation that THEY would be hit.  It took a while for enough crews to get here to start restoring our power and we were without it until late Friday.  Fortunately, temperatures were moderate, so we didn't need heat or air conditioning and our household had hot water.  Richard was retired, but I still had to go to work.  I showered and dressed at home and did my hair and make-up at the library.  The big challenge was finding coffee on the way.

Mom and Dad were without power in Louisville for nine days after Ike. Scary stuff.

The last two times I sailed on a clipper off the coast of Maine , I was on board during Ike and Katrina. It was quite scary. We had to sail into supposedly safe harbors to ride out the storms.

It sounds like this is going to force you not to spend money.

The major difference with a credit card is that you won't be responsible for the missing money while they figure out the problem.  We don't trust debit cards since our info was stolen and items were purchased in Europe.  Eventually the bank returned our money.

I knew that.  I was just wondering if Costco had the CD at all...which they didn't.  I think I need to take a trip to my local Target...and soon.

Does a peanut butter cup s'more have the marshmellow and stuff inside the peanut butter cup?   I do like marshmellows. But not sure if I would like anything besides that and the chocolate and peanut butter.

I guess I should have been more clear -- make a regular S'more with graham cracker, toasted marshmello and chocolate.  But in place of the chocolate -- use a peanut butter cup.  OY, making me drool as I type this!  BTW, went to the store today and had to pick up a peanut butter cup!  LOL
