Well, you've read the notes, the notes were like candy, and now it is time for you to post until the Abba-Zaba cows come home.

Good morning, all.

Once again, I slept solidly for a decent number of hours but still awoke way too early.  No choice but to get up, though, because I had to turn the heat on, and certain members of the household of the feline persuasion were demanding some service.

TOD

I love certain candies (mostly chocolate based) but I don't have yer typical sweet tooth as far as craving them goes, so for the most part I'm able to avoid having candy obsessions.  However, even for a person like me, that can be very difficult between the Halloween season and the end of the year.

As for dessert obsessions ... if cookies qualify, then I am sunk.  I guess they're more of a snack than a dessert.  I don't have much of a problem with most dessert items, and I do go for some fairly long periods without visiting the cookie department, but when I do visit it, watch out.  They're a downfall.  Because snacks in general are a downfall.

Osgood pie. I keep reading about and need to find an hour to make it. The name seems to come from oh-so-good pie and is like a chess pie with pecans and raisins. Sounds delish to me.

I think I've decided on the subject of my next one-person play in THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS:

Lassie

What do you think?

I was thinking of Flipper, but you'd have to have a water tank on stage, and that would be expensive.

TOD:
My dessert obsession is the Dairy Queen Blizzard. There's something about a thick milk shake with chunks of candy and brownies in it that drives me wild. Mark got me a fancy ice cream maker last year and I started making my own blizzards so that I could at least make them with low fat ice cream. But, of course, all the chopped up Reese's peanut butter cups are still very high-calorie, and it's harder to practice portion control when you can make and eat as much as you want.

Druxy, Mark's favorite is rainbow sherbet too. But then he's allergic to chocolate, so his options are limited.

Chocolate is my favorite, too, but I'm also having some dietary issues, so now it's rainbow sherbert.
