Chas did mark it clearly, so Vixmom should be safe.

Last night I watched RADIO DAYS and enjoyed it very much. I don't recall having seen it before. Like BK, I thought it worked very well. Had Woody Allen only made a few films, this should have been one of them.

Speaking of FLUFF (or FFULF), for $4,000 plus shipping you can buy a mirror that projects clouds into the image:

Well, some of us may be a bit short of money after buying all the CDs and DVDs (and sometimes books) we read about on HHW.

The November issue of LIFE EXTENSION magazine has a picture of the actor George Hamilton on the cover. He's 75 and looks FABULOUS!! Of course, there may have been considerable touch-up and I don't know if he's had any little nips and tucks, but even so he looks GREAT. Quite inspiring, IMHO.

Oops. TOD:

THE HEDGEHOG--NOT your typical teenage story, which is partly why I like it so much.

I'm sure there are others, but none spring to mind.

I met him in person while horse back riding in Palms Springs with my girlfriend.  It must have been in the early 60's when his career was just taking off.  My friend recognized him so we went over to ask if he was an actor.  He was extremely nice to us. Over the years I would see him walking around Beverly Hills.  I never had the chance to talk to him again.  I always found him to be much better looking in person.

I picked up a friend today who needs help as she can't drive and uses a walker.  When I left I was comfortable wearing a summer skirt.  By the the time we arrived at the memorial service we attended it was already cooling down and it was much cooler when I dropped her back at home.  I wish I had taken a shawl to wrap around me.

It was a nice service for the mother of a friend.  They held it on what would have been her 92nd birthday.  I am in book group and in the hiking group with my friend, and since I hike with the Trinity Church hikers I new a number of people that attended. My hiking friends didn't immediately recognize me in a skirt and without a cap on. ;D

Has anybody seen the new show with Viola Davis, How To Get Away With Murder?  I just watched the first three episodes and I really like this show!

Lazy day.  I tried the new (to me) barbecue jernt.  Had a side of three baby back ribs and a pulled pork sandwich, all of which, while not quite up to the Kansas City Barbecue, were excellent.  The sauce is on the sweet side, but again not quite as good as the KCB.  But the best was the side of mac-and-cheese - spectacular.  I'll be back.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

She is so good. And the storyline is very interesting.  I wasn't sure what to expect.  It's basically that she's a big time lawyer who teaches at a law school. And she uses  a bunch of her students to help with her cases.  The cases are interesting. And the continuing storyline is super usual and really good.

We have HEADHUNTERS to watch but I'm not sure I want to read subtitles as I'm a bit groggy.

After mentioning yesterday about the Green Hornet being the grandnephew of The Lone Ranger, the Green Hornet's father was in the Lone Ranger episode we watched.

Hey, it is a post.

Finished Act One of The Nance.  Now on to Act Two, and hopefully there will be a frenzy or nine at some point.  I did treat myself to a chocolate peanut butter donut thing and boy was it good.

What a splendid idea - forget the set-up - let's just have punch lines.
