We all KNOW that JRand DESERVES the Upstage Award. For a moment I thought he was trying to upstage the bride last week. As to how it's awarded, well...

Good morning, all.

Up after a too-short night of sleep. My doctor will be proud. I had the lowest blood sugar reading this morning that I've had in a year. And I can't think of anything I did yesterday to cause that.

Congrats to John G!

Insomnia = low blood sugar? Let's hope not. You may be doing something you're not aware of. Mine dropped nine points recently, which both surprised and pleased me. All I'd done was cut back on carbs. (I lost weight, too, but I expected that.)

Hoping to hear that Vixmom and Vixdad had a good trip and that the monkeys have vacated the premises.

I got about seven hours of sleep, stayed in bed till ten-thirty, had a telephonic conversation, then went and had a Cobb Salad and a bagel, then came home.  I've not been relaxing at all, I'm afraid.  I've been figuring out the little changes for the two NY shows, then getting the singers who have new number or who are new to the show their songs and some tracks to hear.

Where the heck is everrybody this weekend?  Page two at 3:15 on the Left Coast?  And yesterday, if it hadn't been for Cilla, we would have finished on Page three!

Certainly it's a millstone.  80,000 will be quite a milestone.

Yes, thanks to Cilla and one other, we got past page three.  It's really reaching epic proportions the last couple of weeks and it really must stop.  MUST STOP.

I guess most of the citizens have decided that this will be the final fling of summer.  The line of cars in and out of the park is two blocks long.

Last night I turned up the heat in the bedroom, just to take off the chill.

At two a.m., in a pool of sweat and with no covers left on the bed; I remembered to turn off the heat.
