Good news about Aunt Doris - the aunt of DR RLP.

DR ELMORE here is a better photo of THE CAKE from the wedding 10 days ago....this is the room set up for the reception....the Cole Porter Room is where the bar was set up.

ASK BK

Have you ever thought of getting a "FRONT" to get back your favorite masters from the previous label? It seems that they do that. As an example: Perhaps Mr. Sherman (THE FRONT) purchase "Believe: The Songs Of The Sherman Brothers" and then it can be released the way it was meant to be. i.e. properly mixed

I've actually talked to Richard about it, but it hasn't happened yet and I'd have to know they have everything that I would need, i.e. all the hard drives, for a remix.

That would be so cool if it could happen!

And yes, I'm up - I did get nine hours of sleep, but stayed in bed an additional two hours doing some work on the iPad.

DR George - I'm not sure which show I was auditioning for, but I just noticed my Red Gold fridge magnet in the background of that photo!

What a coinkydink...that reminds me that I have some of BK's magnets and a couple of the key chains, here at work:

I've had an ear worm for the past few days.

It's the Bette Midler version of Istanbul (Not Constantinople) .

I've always liked this song.  However, I'd never heard the original version by The Four Lads before.

You will all be pleased to know that my Aunt Doris is doing much better now that she is home and resting.

Great news, Ron!

DR TCB I hope that you have decided to take the part in Glengary Glen Ross......and remember what Doris Day said to all the people who were mad at her for smoking and drinking in LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME:

"That wasn't me - that was the Ruth Etting....."

Got a silly question:

Does everyone do the login-logout thing every time?  I don't.  I close the tab when I'm done, but if I recall correctly, I had checked the "keep me logged in" box which keeps me from having to do anything but click on my HHW bookmark, and I'm always in right away.

I just wondered, in a moment of idle wondering, if that keeps my name up there on the page in perpetuity...which would certainly be misleading.

I think that when you leave, you are "offline" and time does not accrue.  But, you are still logged in for purposes of not having to sign in each time.

Istanbul was Constantinople
 Now it's Istanbul, not Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Now it's Turkish delight on a moonlit night

Every gal in Constantinople
 Lives in Istanbul, not Constantinople
So if you've a date in Constantinople
 She'll be waiting in Istanbul

Even old New York was once New Amsterdam
Why they changed it I can't say
People just liked it better that way

So take me back to Constantinople
No, you can't go back to Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Why did Constantinople get the works?
That's nobody's business but the Turks

I am back from doing a $95 grocery trip for Mom.  Richard and I have begun the great refrigerator clean-out in preparation for tomorrow's delivery of the new one.

I never log out.  I just either close my browser or go to another website.  Every once in a while at work, our computer system logs me out of everything and have to log back in to things, but it's only every couple of weeks or so.  It's something that they set up "for security reasons." ::)

Whatever.

I do the same thing DR CHAS SMITH......and when you are gone, as far as I can tell, you are not still logged in.  You are gone from the top of the page right now.

If you close your browser, you are not here.

DR GINNY what kind of appliances did you get?
