DR George - I'm not sure which show I was auditioning for, but I just noticed my Red Gold fridge magnet in the background of that photo!

What a coinkydink...that reminds me that I have some of BK's magnets and a couple of the key chains, here at work:

I didn't know you had an area to put up some of your collection.  I'm glad they aren't all at home in a box.  Do you occasionally switch them out or do you always have the same ones at work?

I pretty much leave them up and don't switch them around.  I'm just lazy. ;)

Somehow I'm not too surprised by this ;)

I got to see some very nice photos in the Cole Porter Room, but I wasn't smart enough to take any pictures in there.

I saw some light weight hiking shorts today that I like.  I want them in long pants but the store didn't have by size in the long pants and said they can order them.  I figured first I would call R.E.I and see if they have them.  To my surprise REI said they never carry my size.  End of discussion  :o

I've had an ear worm for the past few days.

It's the Bette Midler version of Istanbul (Not Constantinople) .

I've always liked this song.  However, I'd never heard the original version by The Four Lads before.

Then you must not watch the PBS nostalgia programs.

DR TCB I hope that you have decided to take the part in Glengary Glen Ross......and remember what Doris Day said to all the people who were mad at her for smoking and drinking in LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME:

"That wasn't me - that was the Ruth Etting....."

No Jrand, I won't be doing any plays in the near future.

Got a silly question:

Does everyone do the login-logout thing every time?  I don't.  I close the tab when I'm done, but if I recall correctly, I had checked the "keep me logged in" box which keeps me from having to do anything but click on my HHW bookmark, and I'm always in right away.

I just wondered, in a moment of idle wondering, if that keeps my name up there on the page in perpetuity...which would certainly be misleading.

I think that when you leave, you are "offline" and time does not accrue.  But, you are still logged in for purposes of not having to sign in each time.

Yes.  What he said.

Where the heck is everyone?  No one in the room but me.

I've been in the kitchen cleaning the exterior of our refrigerator.  I threw away a bunch of magnets and papers that we had up there, but still have a lot of stuff that I may or may not put back up on the new one.

Well, it's time for me to leave work.  I need to do some laundry tonight.  I bought some new underwear at Costco on Monday so that I wouldn't have to do laundry then (TMI, I know).  Now, I need to.

Until later.

I wish I had been at our local Rite Aid when the bear cub wondered in.

DR TCB - I posted some photos of my wedding back when it happened (over July 4th/5th, 2008), but that account has long ago been deleted, so the photos probably aren't in the posts anymore.
