Well, you've read the notes, the notes were like a Chinese Box, always more notes, and now it is time for you to post until the Chinese cows come home.

Good morning, all! When I woke at 4:30, I was dreaming about discussing with an employer a possible recording, I then lay awake far too long before I dozed back off and dreamed something about my goddaughter Charlotte, Jerry Orbach, and a cineplex.

This morning, i have therapy. When that's over, I will call Joshie to see if I am needed today at City Center.  If not, I will send him an invoice, and accomplish some work here.  I need to vacuum the apartment.

I am wondering if bk really meant to talk about November in the opening paragraph of today's notes??

I know I have read Writer's Block and Rewind, and remember the general gist of each, and that I enjoyed them both, but I could certainly benefit from re-reading them.

Last night, a small choral group that I participate in held an event at a new brewery in town. We sang a few pieces from our upcoming concert of Renaissance music, as well as some rowdy Elizabethan drinking songs. For the most part, the folks that showed up because they knew we would be there listened attentively, and the general patrons couldn't have cared less. But all in all, it was a unique and fun event. The brewery doesn't serve food, but there was an Italian food truck parked right outside. There was also a resident dog (belonging to one of the owners) who greeted everyone.

I'm on record as having been thrilled with the Chinese Box construction of Writer's Block, but when I went back to see what I'd said about it, I was amazed to be reminded that I'd read this one straight through in one evening.  I look forward to a second reading, and I'm not just "saying that".

I have a special spot for REWIND as I thought that one of the characters was sort of, kind of was based on me. But you will have to read the book to see what I am talking about.

I have AMAZON PLUS for a month and have been seeing some old favorites and new ones. I have to make it through some of the new ones The worst so far was Inframan a Japanese film from 1975. I like cheesy Japanese special effects but the story was terrible. Too juvenile and from what I watched of it I think Mighty Morphin Power Rangers "borrowed" some concepts from this film.

THIS IS A BIT DISTURBING

This morning we were watching TV and, suddenly, an emergency message comes on line from The White House, changing the channel we were watching and not allowing us to change back to our channel until we turned off the set and turned it back on. This situation began about 45 minutes ago and is still going on. Indeed, even the sound is being cut off at times.

I spoke to Uverse and they confirm that this is, indeed, coming from The White House, but they are not aware of any national emergency.

Does anybody know what is going on?

Good morning, all.

Great dog photo, Milkbone. He looks a little like Byron, a dog my brother-in-law used to have. One of the all-time great canine critters ever.

Since I don't watch TV anymore, I don't know if it's interrupted here in San Antonio or not.

This situation went on for over an hour, but it seems to be over now.

I am home from therapy. We have a new therapist, Dipka, right out of college, and she's cute as a button.  I like her.  The staff is growing: Gurjeet, Jen, Bart, Luis, Lisa, Charles, Carl, and Dipka.  I do miss Morgan.

Joshie says he does not need me at City Center, but I am on call, in case.

DR DRUXY the Ann Savage information would have been important to have in that documentary.....they barely talked to her at all.....and yes I liked the idea of them being in the car and being interviewed.....

The rain has stopped but the wind continues.  We have lost power several times in the last couple of days.  Don't be surprised is I'm not around.
