One day, singdaw will be able to put up a third finger and he can announce this page's turn.

Why do I get the feeling he's showing me one of his fingers right this very second?

Sunglasses woman is the legendary Edith Head.

Thank you. I knew she looked familiar.

I believe Daylight Savings Time used to end in September.  I hate it lasting this long.

I hope the Vixter now understands why you shouldn't leave the dryer running when you aren't home.  I too used to ignore that important bit of advice until I kept reading about houses burning down due to a dryer left on.

Is anyone else tracking the World Series?

I watched part of it Saturday night...when the score was tied 4-4...and then saw the Giants' bats light up and raised the score to 7-4.   It was a thrill.

I am kind of tracking it.  I hadn't read the final score for last night yet, so thanks for letting me know.

I will leave it to you to ponder which one.

We had a very exciting morning here, going out to buy two new toilets for our apartment.

But to allay any suspense, a professional plumber will be doing the installing.

Very nice, Jrand!  Here's my da Vinci image:

Great photo, DR Ron Pulliam!   Interesting that the stars are not in center--William Holden isn't even in the front row!  I wonder who the woman dead center is?

I got a new bike today.  My aunt told me to meet her somewhere (I did not know where). And when I got there it was a bike store and my aunt and uncle had bought me a very fancy new bike.  I have not tried it yet because I had to be somewhere right after that.  But I am hoping i can try it tomorrow or Wednesday (weather permitting).

I went to watch my 5 year old niece's swimming lessons tonight.  In the Fall/Winter the kids in the lower classes are so much older.  She has what looks to be a 7-8 year old and maybe 3 nine or ten year olds in her class.

Then I went to watch my older niece's swim team practice. Monday nights is the only night you can watch from the stands.

Almost time for Dancing With the Stars.  I spent all weekend watching Homeland Season 3 so I am a bit behind on all my tv shows.

I think i may get my flu shot next week.  They are doing it next week at the hockey rink beside the pool my niece's swim at.  i don't think they are doing it at my town's pool/library for another month.

Well, I'm leaving work early.  I have a couple of errands to run before I go see "Frankenstein" with Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller.  The two actors played both roles (Frankenstein and the Creature) and they filmed both versions!  Tonight, I'm seeing Benedict Cumberbatch play the Creature and on Wednesday, I'll see JLM's version of the Creature.  I'm really hoping that it'll eventually be available for purchase, either as Blu-ray/DVD or download through someplace like www.digitaltheatre.com

Until later!

I like your aunt and uncle.  Were you not able to give it a small test to check the fit?  Please share a photo of your new bike.

Good weather vibes!!!

The guy at the store measured it so it is the right height.  It is a Raleigh.
