THE ORDEAL OF THE TOOTH EXTRACTION

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were an ordeal and had an extraction, and now it is time for you to post until the extracted cows come home.

That would be a great title for something-or-other.

Good morning, all!

I slept late, until 7:30 or so, then I had to deal with several important emails. I had to call Fed Ex to get answers to questions about shipment. I will shortly walk over to the local Fed Ex office and pick up some shipping supplies.

Beyond that, it's a day of Paint Your Wagon and some housework.  I need to vacuum really badly.

Remembering the line from the play "Money Talks" - "Nature abhors a vacuum, and so does my cleaning lady."

Thanks, DR Jrand64!  But to be upfront, I'm really only doing a minute or so of the patter that leads into "76 Trombones."       :)

I liked Tim Cook's (CEO of Apple) public op-ed piece, published today, very much.

Thursday morning greetings!  The only thing on my calendar today is Trick or Treat, which takes place in our community from 5-7pm.  I have some kitchen work to do and a lot of desk work.

SPELLBOUND

Walter Matthau:
MIRAGE*
CHARADE
THE TAKING OF PELHAM ONE TWO THREE
THE ODD COUPLE

*which I have loved since I saw it in its first week of release, and I've always been amazed at the number of people who never heard of it.  It's now been a number of years since I've watched it, and I don't remember the letdown BK speaks of, but I'm totally up for it now.

And yes, prime Diane Baker.  And Kevin McCarthy.  And ..... everyone.
