Yes, but high school football is a big deal here on Friday nights and we can't compete with that.

Rehearsal begins in fifteen minutes.  I hope by the time we're through we're on page nine.

We've had our first 4 trick or treaters, including a Captain Hook who had trouble opening his bag with his hook.

I don't understand why you are doing this on a Thursday night when Halloween is on a weekend night.

The mail is very late today.  I've already made two trips to an empty box.  I wouldn't bother if we weren't expecting a couple of DVDs from Netflix, otherwise it is all political junk.

All this Halloween talk.  I'm just sayin'....it makes everything feel un-Irving.

My mailbox was so jammed yesterday I could hardly get stuff out.   Mostly political ads in varying sizes.  I've gotten a ton of stuff over the past six weeks.   I wish I could post a note saying, "I've voted already!  Keep your political ads!"

Richard took over trick or treat watch so I could fix myself some dinner.  He'd had a meatloaf sandwich while I did the early shift and I just finished the leftover pork barbecue that I brought home Tuesday evening.

That's great, Ginny!  I've gone to my sister's for the last several years, and she never gets anyone.  Whenever I've been home, I do keep my porch light off, because I don't want any kids begging for treats.

...and Trick or Treat 2014 is history in Middletown, Ohio.  We think we had about 50 kids.

I've voted, too, AND I also get too many political ads.  Fortunately, it's a lot less than during the presidential election years.

About a puppy from an upcoming litter we declined......  I discovered that the grand father of this litter is Sherlock's father.

I don't want to be tempted.
