Just watched Garbo Talks.  I think I had seen it before but didn't remember that much.  I enjoyed it.  Hermione Gingold's answering machine message is hysterical.

I do hope people are at least listening to the Sandy samples - she's so good on this album.

I really liked "Who Do I Have to Blank," but I've always loved the "Bus and Truck" songs, and it's fun to hear it orchestrated.  i'll be buying this in a couple of weeks.

It's nice to hear nice reports.  Perhaps Jane will listen to them at some point since she was around for the writing of at least one of them.

Just heard Pippin is closing on B'way in January.  I'm seeing it here in LA tomorrow night.

Listening now to all of the Sandy sound clips - boy, do they sound fantastic!!

The clips sound fantastic and I love Sandy's voice; but who the Hell is this composer?

Sign of the season:  I've just made my first batch of caramel corn fot the AAUW holiday bazaar, which is this coming Friday and Saturday.  I have 9 gift bags containing 2 cups each and will make another batch on Wednesday to have a total of 18 to donate.  Each batch, of course, yields some for us to munch on, too!

Yesterday, I found some clips on YouTube from SCOOGE THE MUSICAL.  When I did the show in 2004, Scrooge's first song in the show was NO BETTER LIFE.  In the version I found last night, that song has been replaced by a song called M.O.N.E.Y.  I have no idea when or why the song was changed.  The clip was from, I believe, a 2012 tour of Oz.  I didn't care for the new song.

I'm very relieved the sound on the samples is coming through very well and I can actually listen.

I am enjoying these very much.  If they sound this good on my computer they must be fantastic on a quality sound system.

From DR Cilla:

You need to rectify that.  Netflix has it.

I'll remember that!

Speaking of the cats, I couldn't get in to the old vet, so I contacted an office I've been thinking about going to and got an appointment at 2:00PM.   I walked in with Callie in her carrier and we were greeted by Jack and Jill and Miss Fancy Pants....the cats that live in the vets office!!   The vet was a nice very young woman.  She felt Callie's tummy and said she thinks she'll be ok without further treatment. Callie is very sore from her treatment at the other vet, so she said to give her another pain pill, which I did and watch her.

DR Cilla, what treatment are you referring to, unplugging her?

So, my stress level is down and Callie is happy I'm not bugging her.  The vet was going to do a more complete exam, but Callie was clearly upset, much more than usual, so I told her if Callie isn't in danger that I preferred we let her heal from the soreness she has from her treatment last week before doing more.  Callie was very excited on the way home.

Yes.  She's never been this sore afterwards, so I'm not sure what they did to make her hurt more than usual.  She was VERY angry and upset when we left after her treatment on Friday
