I have spent most of the day napping, which I clearly needed. I do hope I am in finer fettle tomorrow.

Not sure Rodzinski is on my Facebook friends list, actually - so if anyone is in touch do invite him.

I did this when the events were first posted on Facebook.

Thanks, DRs Jrand64 and TCB! Work went well on the second day. A lot of technical and detailed information to try to assimilate in a very short period of time.

"The Children Act" sounds interesting, however, I did not care for "Atonement" and suspect I might feel the same about this book.

Today's drama:

So there I was, early this morning, in my jammies and checking my email and reading the news. I knew the plumber was in the apartment next door because of the noise. The noise got louder and LOUDER, until finally I got up and looked into my bathroom, which abuts the neighbor's bathroom. The plumber's snake had made it over to my side and had drilled a sizable hole right through the drain from my bathroom sink. Oy! In the process it had pushed open the cabinet doors and pushed out all the stuff I had stored under the sink, ie, toilet paper (I'd just purchased a large package), cleaning products, paper towels, etc onto the floor. Everything was covered with dirt and grit from the drain.

I'm just glad I was home when this happened and was able to grab the plumber RIGHT NOW. I'd hate to come home to this mess and then have to wait several days until he fit me in.

He has now replaced the drain pipe and I have now cleaned up HIS mess. The manager bought me a fresh package of toilet paper to make up for the inconvenience.

I was reminded of DR Elmore's bathroom ceiling fiasco and was thankful this was over in just a few hours.

Once that was done I was able to shower and then drive to the lab to have blood drawn. How's that for a fun day?

Good morning, all!

Last weekend i thought i was getting sick, but now I think it's allergies from all the dust in the building the intercom installers are kicking up as they knock holes through the walls to install new cables. My sinuses are a mess at the moment. To add insult t injury, our elevator is out again, which is utter bullshit, and i need to learn from the installers when the fat hell they plan to repair the hle in my wall so that i can put my apartment back together and get rid of this dust.

I cannot say I am a happy camper at the moment.

I know my allergies would be playing havoc with me if I was living in all of that.

I'm so frustrated with the internet at this hotel. I paid. $35 for a week 's worth and it's going in and out. I had written a reply to Ben and couldn't post it. I'm writing this on my phone.

I hope you have the charge removed and receive whatever wifi you get for free.

I've been watching SCOTT & BAILEY. A good show. It looks like season 2 has released, but Netflix doesn't have it yet.

I'm impressed with Lesley Sharp. She isn't an actress I was familiar with, but she's quite good.

DR CILLA LIZ - I finally watched ABOUT TIME by the director of LOVE, ACTUALLY......it was great....and I highly recommend it.....the previews made it look like an entirely different kind of movie than it really was.

If you like one, I think you will like the other.

Just recently I mentioned finding this completely delightful and wonderful and highly recommended it.

DR Jrand maybe you are the reason I had it in my Netflix queue.

Today I spent hours doing the Facebook event page for the holiday show, sent out that eBlast, so all that's done and one less thing to worry about.  Sent off Evan's Li'l Abner costume to the hotel in NY so that will be there on Thursday for my arrival.  I think I'll begin the packing stuff right now, just the preliminaries of it.  I should be able to get my boarding pass online in the early morning.

At seven tonight, we're shooting a little video for a Kickstarter or Indiegogo campaign (we haven't decided which it will be yet) - this is one of two we're going to do in the next few months.  This one is for our Feb production of the Doug Haverty and Adryan Russ musical, Inside Out.  The campaign will start sometime next week.  Lots of good and fun perks for the donors.  We do have to raise a bit of dough for the production, but we're donating a good percentage of ticket sales to a breast cancer foundation, so in the end it's all going to a good cause.  This will be the show's twentieth anniversary production - it opened off-Broadway twenty years ago at the Cherry Lane Theater.

I never found him to be one to stand on ceremony anyway.  He was reserved and would not want to make public announcements that he was dumping you.

DR Ron, thanks for the Castle warning.  We have two episodes of Bletchley Circle to watch tonight before we can see Castle.  I am very curious as to what you wrote.

Greetings from Melt Shop.  It's a "comfort food" place that specializes in grilled cheese. I had the"classic, which seems to be made with cheez whiz. I guess I had me fat calories for the day.

That sounds awful  :P
