I must say, after yesterday's fruit and today's the fruit in NY is AWFUL.  I only ate two bites yesterday and I don't even think I made it to two today.  Pretzels are good, though.

Over-react much?

The fruit in New York is NOT awful. You got some bad fruit. Deal with it. I get very good fruit all the time and I've lived here for 35 years!

No, dear Ben I don't overreact much, I really don't, no, I really don't.  I posted that yesterday's and today's fruit was really bad - I bought it in NY.  Perhaps it's not a good time for fruit in NY these past two days.  I have also had bad fruit in LA and I've posted about it.  Are you really taking this as a personal affront to the fruit of New York?  Normally I enjoy the fruit of New York, but not today and not yesterday.  I would say if there's any overreacting going on it ain't coming from my direction.  Not to mention the "deal with it" attitude.  Don't get it, don't understand it, and will now forget about it.

No, I haven't been sitting here like so much fish.  We went out for a walk around the neighborhood and now we're home warming up with a cup of tea.

I think I need new glasses. Last night, around 7:00, my eyes were neither focusing nor sending good signals to my retina: I felt as though a strobe light had gone off in the corner of my right eye. It's just happened again, and I guess it's time to have my eyes checked for new glasses or new eyeballs.

New Eyeballs - that's the title of my next novel, a story of fruit run amok in the streets of New York.

I've shaved, will relax another fifteen minutes and then shower.  At four or thereabouts I'll mosey on over to The Triad and finally see the layout of the room and the stage, chat with our sound and light guy, and then sound check at around five-fifteen.  I gather they open the doors around six-thirty for the seven show.  Really hoping we get people just showing up, but it does look like we're getting up to around sixty for the early show.

Excellent! That is fifty more than I was afraid would be there. I was there for Jacques Brel about two or three years ago and "Just Good Friends" performed there when it was Palssons around 1982, but i have no memory or conception of how many the place holds.

DR elmore3003 - your symptoms sound alarmingly like a detached retina. I hope that is not the case. If so, it requires immediate attention.

Last night in the green room they had homemade chocolate chip cookies.

It was a nice thought, but can anyone really eat those and then sing?        :P

Yes, that's a question they always ask at an exam -- whether you ever see flashing.  It's important.

Well, I guess it's time to contact Dr Moazed rather than wait until January 5.
