Yeah, Ben, the temperatures here are weird, too. It went from days in the 40s and lows below freezing to being almost 70 when I drove in this morning.

A friend will be in town from Northern Ireland on Sunday and Monday. I'm glad she's getting some nice weather.

We are also supposed to have very mild temps on Sunday and Monday (and maybe Tuesday).  After the frigid cold I will be happy.

Topic of the Day:

Just received from Target.com:  the 3-track exclusive version of Coming Home by Kristen Chenoweth.  I also received the soundtrack to the new version of "Annie," but I accidentally ordered the regular edition and not the 3-track exclusive version, so I want to return it (hopefully, it wont' cost any more $).

Also waiting by my CD player to be listened to again:  Sandy Bainum's "It Might Be Fun"

;D

Well I have to say that I have been in many snowstorms, Ice storms etc here in Buffalo and West Seneca.

I absolutely think that this storm has been the worst.  We live in a mobile home and the snow on our roof was about 3 feet.
I was a nervous wreck.
Finally I flagged down a truck.  Thank God they were professional roofers.  There were 5 guys that cleaned the snow off of our roof.

We have a tip-out that didn't get entirely cleaned.  I called them and am waiting for them to come today to look at it.

All and all they did a fantastic job.

The cost $800.00.  Worth every cent to feel safer and have piece of mind.

There is still a driving ban in most areas.  The snow is about 7 feet deep.  We have a path to get out thru the garage.  Finally we had our car cleared off also.  Now we have to worry about the floods.  We were packed and ready to evacuate yesterday.
Thank God we had the roof cleaned.

Our dog wouldn't go out for a day and a half to do her business.  I don't know how she held it, but she did.  Finally she did!

I never remember feeling so anxious and scared during a snowstorm in my life.

We have to wait it out and hopefully soon the driving ban will be lifted, and things will be getting back to normal!

Thank goodness you ate safe and sill have a roof!  Vibes you will continue to be ok!!!

I also ordered Bette Midler's It's The Girls with 2 bonus tracks, but it hasn't been delivered yet.  I probably will get it on Monday.

Had lunch with Doug Haverty - eggs benedict and a short stack at the Studio Cafe.  Pancakes were terrible and I ate only one of them - benedict was excellent.

Then I finally did my banking, picked up no packages, and am now home listening to the new master of what we're announcing on Monday.
