Well, you've read the notes, the notes disappeared and were soupy, and now it is time for you to post until the soupy cows come home.

The cap stayed put whilst brushing the teeth, so that's good.

Good news about the cap staying on the tooth, BK!

Last night, I was able to visit with my cousin and his wife for about a half hour before I had to leave to go to rehearsal, which was improved over the night before.  I was able to get out of rehearsal for tonight because I otherwise would only have one day to visit with my cousin and his wife.  And since I'm only running the sound board, and the sound cues aren't even completed, it's a good time for me to not be there.

The family is all getting together at my parents' house today for lunch, so I'll go there at my lunch time, and the I'll be able to visit after work tonight and all day tomorrow (after the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, of course), and all day Friday.

Anthony is already out there and I will be on Long Island later this morning. My office closes early today (at 1pm) but I've come in early for 3 days and will leave at 9:30 so I can get an early, hopefully, less crowded train.

Bye.

In the "That and $2.50 will get you on the bus" department, my comment under the NY Times Casablanca article got 89 "recommends"  :)

I think this is the link to the comment itself

Thanksgiving Eve greetings!  My sister and her husband are on their way from Michigan, as of about 10 minutes ago.  Their daughter will be on her way from Illinois soon and their son & significant other will be on the road early tomorrow.  Rob and Mary Linda will leave for her parents' in Michigan later this afternoon.

I, meanwhile, am finishing my second cup of coffee and getting ready to make pumpkin pies.  After the delivery we're expecting between 11 and 1, Richard and I will venture out to pick up our turkey.

Good morning, all!

I send sincere thanks and love to all of you who sent me good vibes yesterday. I can only credit that $28 lottery win last night to those vibes and DR JRand64's advice about the pennies. I'm very grateful  for that.  This morning around 11:00 I will run down to City Center to pick up a check and head for the bank.

BK, I went to contribute $20, but it appears the site wants $100 from me, but there's no way I can afford that at the moment, so I send vibes that you make your goal. I also send dental vibes.

Good morning, all.

It is now snowing.  But it's a very wet one that isn't sticking to anything.  Yet.  Fortunately, I got done the things that needed getting done yesterday, and don't have to go out today, though probably this afternoon or this evening I will be out pushing the snow blower.  Lordy.

Knee update.

I am still having problems, but I have used up my leave with the company and if I don't return to work I will loose my health benefits by the end of the month and at the start of the new year I would have to go on COBRA.

I am going back starting Monday with reduced hours per day and taking a sit break every ten minutes.

My return also coincides with my 15th anniversary with the company. I am grateful working for a company that has allowed me the time off and held my job.

Also the manager of the store will have moved on by the time I get back just before the busiest time of the year.
