Have a safe day and please don't support any stores that open today for their sales.

Amen to that and Happy Thanksgiving to All!

Ditto!  And thank you for the link!

It saddens me that we are allowing Thanksgiving to be taken by the merchants.

Good morning, all! And Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm watching the Macy's parade and pondering my day  I will spend part of the day with Josh and Jeremy Clayton and others I may or may not know at John Bell's home. John is the assistant conductor for ON THE TOWN, and I am quite fond of him.  I am waiting for Joshie to tell me what I can bring.

I got a loverly email from Ireland this morning from Eamonn, our Barry on EILEEN and Ladislaw on ROBERTA:
I eventually got round to listening to Roberta uninterupted from start to finish. What a great recording it is! So slick, spritely and clean cut fun! There are many beautiful moments. Among my favourites are Vinny Lynch's electric playing, Kim's crazy characterisation and the brilliant brass boys. Absoutely fabulous - well done you for pulling all the forces together and getting it out there.

The limited talent of Rob Ashford strikes again! I just saw the Macy's Parade bit of PETER PAN. The Lost boys are played by men?  And that's the new dance arrangement and choreography for "I Won't Grow Up"?   Lost Boys, it's too late; those balls have dropped.

I'll stick with Mary Martin.

Time for me to pack up the car with my pumpkin pie and cranberry sauce and go over the river and through the woods to Samantha's house.   Looking forward to it and to coming home tonight to the kitties.

I got this book from Amazon two days ago. Oscar Hammerstein did not write ROBERTA with Jerome Kern, no matter what the auhor says. I have to return it tomorrow.

No matter what defects the text has, this copy has two blank pages in the first half of the book.

DR CHAS SMITH - I use a FIREFOX add-on with my browser that puts a download option on my YOU TUBE page....

If you use Firefox it is very easy to use.  Then you can always use Format Factory to convert them to AVI's to burn to a dvd.
