Take your camera DRPANNI and get all the last night drama!  I don't think I have seen any photos of DRJOSE at the theater!!

I'll do my best to be the on location reporter. Sometimes the phone camera is not the greatest.

Hi, PennyO - Too bad I missed you by one night. How did you enjoy the show?

I didn't get any See's, Jose. Didn't feel like going to the mall.
BTW - I'll be at the show tomorrow for the final performance of this run -- couldn't miss that!

Oh, I keep meaning to ask, which mall do you go to?  -Just curious.

And make sure your name is on "The List" for tomorrow night - unless you've already bought a ticket.  Even though we're apparently not sold out tomorrow, I have a feeling we'll be pretty full, if not just plain sold out.

I just noticed that I've posted over 2000 posts!  I never even paid attention to that!  Just had to share. :D

Oh please.  Sincerity is sooooo hard to fake, Dear Reader George.

hiya, gang!!

Oh, my, I saw such a wonderful funny show tonight! What If is one of the funniest happiest best shows I ever saw! And I will dream of Jose Piano Man for a LONG LONG time! Believe me, if I'm gonna sing in front of folks, I want an accompanist like our Jose. Honeyboy, if I do my show off-B'way this spring, will ya please play for me???

The cast was uniformly terrific, great ensemble work, wonderful choreography. Alet has one of the best voices I've ever heard. The Kimmel original songs are so welcome in there among the parodies, and Charles and I just floated out of there. Nothing like huge laughs to get yer endorphins zipping around. Thanks, Bruce, for such a lovely evening.

Okay, tired, gonna go to bed now. Visions of wackiness rampant in my dream-zone. Hahahahahahaaaaa!!!

Ice Cream?

I was thinking about having a hot dog.

Maybe I should have both.

I got to the Westfield Mall in Sherman Oaks (formerly Fashion Square), just a few minutes from the home environment.
My name is on "The List" (not of Adrian Messenger)...

DRJOSE is so right!

I have found that signing a song (if not most of them) adds a new element to a scene or show that is difficult to describe.....it's a feeling that something new is happening.....you are "hearing" the song for the first time, no matter how many times you have listened to it.
"Seeing" a song is a VERY emotional experience!

I saw the Deaf West Theatre production of Big River here in L.A. before it went to Broadway, and I have to agree.  I thought the signing was balletic, and added a whole new layer of interpretation to the score.

DRPANNI have you ever seen The Bellboy and the Playgirl?

Is that by Arthur Miller?.... No, that's Death of a Salesman... I always get them confused.
'Fraid I haven't seen it, Jrand.

I am eating an ice cream sandwich.

Today at the vet we found out that Holly the Zaftig ShaR-Pei  has lost ONE pound.

And the vet gave me his copy of September's DOG FANCY magazine that has a Shar-Pei on the cover and many lovely photos inside.  They are lovely dogs....with some health problems.....but I don't know if I could own another breed now.  The blue/grey Shar-Peis are beautiful....the cream coloreds are also lovely.  Holly is fawn/carmel with black tipped ears....

Hehehehe.  And of course they all have the regulation BLACK tongue...LOL.

How would that title be translated into Hungarian?

I don't know anything "naughty" in Hungarian. When I was a young actress (in my early 20's) a veteran Hungarian actor with whom I was in a play decided that it was his mission in life to teach me all the dirty Hungarian words I'd missed out on. He did his best, but as I never used them before, after or since, they came in one ear and out the other - so to speak.
Maybe signing is the answer...

I can understand your mixing them up, DRPANNI....I think the plots were about the same!

DRJAY....the first time I used sign language in a show was in a production of SNOOPY!!! when I had the little boy who played Woodstock sign the last song....can't think of its title...."If just one person......" ...you know the song I mean....  The cast sang it and he stood on top of the doghouse and did the signs.....sweet!

Technical term PennyO picked up in the theatrical profession, no doubt.

I haven't heard from bk, but I'm guessing with post-theater supping and whatnot, the Notes may go up late tonight. Not the Official Word, mind you, just an educated guess.

Aw shucks... <blush>  *Too bad there's no blushing smiley here...  Ah, well.. In any case...

Thank You, DR PennyO, for such a wonderful compliment.  Thank You.

Right now, I have a hole in my schedule starting in March... That's Spring time, right? ;)

Or how about a front page from the day you were born?

Might take me a bit to print and scan, but first person to give me his birthdate will get a newspaper front page from that date....

GO!
