DRMBARNUM what did Barbara say to William?

Guess what?  I watched Teersri Manzil!  What a wild ride!  I love all the dances and the music of course.  And yes there was the Gumnaam girl there in all her glory!  Whew!

DR RLP, I thought I described the pod the other day when I first mentioned it. It's an 8' X 16' storage unit that is delivered to your home. You fill it full for moving, and then the company comes and takes it to the storage facility in the city closest to where you live. You pay regular storage rates until you're ready to have it delivered to where you're finally moving (house-wise). Can't tell you more than than. It was a new concept for me, too, but seems like a wonderful idea.

I've just seen about 15 minutes of LOST IN LA MANCHA. The phone kept ringing, so I turned the DVD off and jumped on the internet. I'll return to it in an hour or so.

DVD - Criterion release of MAURICE with lots of extras and a great widescreen presentation - enhanced for those of you who need it.

CD - David Pascucci sings Previn, Valley of the Dolls & Inside Daisy Clover.  Well - less than thirty minutes of music, and NOT a good album, but nice to have some of the songs.  Steven Applegate (producer, arranger, orchestrator, and conductor - and I guess he also made the coffee) uses some electronic gimmick at the end of each song wherein David is singing with himself or against himself...anyway it doesn't work...so I can't recommend the album or the singer.  But it's mine now, I own it!

VCR - HOW TO STUFF A WILD BIKINI!

DRJAY are you going to be able to photograph Miss Allison's house sometime?

I shall, Dear Reader JRand54, but it will have to be an old fashioned photograph, as I own neither a digital camera nor a camera/phone combination device.

Divarobbie - sorry to hear about your situation. But as bk and others said - sometimes good things can come out of seemingly &#@-y things. I hope they will for you.

Now with all the new computer DSL stuff set up, I've been listening to a great radio station out of the Cincinnati area called wmkv (www.wmkvfm.org).  That plays great big band and standards with very little commercial interruption.  They do occasionally have some programs for retirees that interrupt regular programming, but they never last very long.  Right now they're playing SHOW BOAT...I didn't catch which version though.

I've also been listening to BBC4 and BBC7...My Music, Boothby Graffoe, The 99p Challenge, Just A Minute...

DVDs...McCabe & Mrs. Miller, Open Range, SCTV, Animal House and all its various extras...still the best slob comedy ever.

And don't forget, dear reader Pogue, our very own radio show right here at haineshisway.com, hosted by our very own wonderful Mr. Donald Feltham.

Good Afternoon!

Whew!  I ended up doing a bit more trekking today than I thought I would, but, in turn, I ended up getting a lot done.  Of course, most of it was shopping, but now I have souvenirs and gifts for my family - especially for my nieces and nephews.  -My niece, Alyssa turned two yesterday, and I'll be home in time on Sunday to attend her birthday party! :)  And I picked up some Filipino Greatest Hits type CDs for my parents.  Oh, and a box or two of See's Candies at the Beverly Center.  *DR Panni, the guy at the counter said he had some more free samples for you! ;)  -And what a "monstrosity" that Beverly Center is... It took me a while to figure out how to get out of there without ending up in the Macy's Men's Store again.

Now, I'm just waiting for my brother to come by, and we'll be heading to dinner before the show.

I remember William Reynolds from some ABC crime show - was it THE FBI?

That is correct Matth! Good memory..he also starred in the TV series THE GALLANT MEN, PETE KELLY'S BLUES, and THE ISLANDERS.

DRJAY are you going to be able to photograph Miss Allison's house sometime?  DRJOSE never travels that way, it seems.

Good vibes for the final two WI performances.  It is so strange after all these weeks of rehearsal and performance to be HOME on Friday evening!

Ummm... <cough, cough>... We shall see... Keep your fingers crossed...  ;D

And thanks for the Good Vibes...  And I'm looking forward to being home next week too.  However, I'll be subbing in for Mamma Mia! again, so...  And then I have The Producers the week after that, so...  But since I'm just subbing in, I'll have most of my evenings free - I'm mainly covering the weekend matinees for each show.  And then it looks like I'll be on the road again for a few weeks... Stay tuned!

Dr Jayrand54, glad that you enjoyed TEESRI MANZIL! Fun movie...very colorful too!

William Reynold's didn't say exactly what it was the Babs said to him...she just indicated that she was not pleased that he was late on the set (although he thought he had a very good excuse at the time) and that a professional actor is never late (he was all of 22 at the time, I think).

I'm looking at a couple of other shows that I can roll this cast over into.  Kinda difficult, since there were a number of kids in the cast...  But we'll see.

BK, I ordered Kritzerland last night.  Can't wait for it!

Craig did that when he lived in San Francisco.  It worked very well when he was between apartments.

Panni thanks and enjoy your See’s samples. :)

Divarobbie I’m sorry your show was cancelled and best of vibes finding a new one.  It is nice you are also concerned about the cast.

Bogie was given fluids and we were told to give him flavorless, sugarless Metamucil.  All we could find was regular which we purchased.  We hope it is the same as flavorless.  If nothing happens tonight Bogie will have to return to the doctor tomorrow.

I also got a prescription for Robaxin, but the pharmacy gave me the generic methocarbamol.  I looked up the side effects and am now afraid to take it.  I will try the lowest dose tonight.

Hi Jane!  I've been in and out of my house this afternoon and finally I'm home to stay (for the evening).

I stayed home from work because my back hurt (a little) when I woke up.  I have a whole bunch of sick leave (about 900 hours), so I decided to use some of it.  I know it's nothing like you've been suffering, Jane.  I really do wish you the Best Healing Vibes!!

Enjoyed LOST IN LA MANCHA. I'm sure we've all experienced situations where one bad thing after another happened until something was just canceled. Reminds me of DR divarobbie's situation somewhat.

Sorry to say tonight's MEDICAL INVESTIGATION revealed the show as a second tier drama. The medical mystery portions of the show are as good as any, but the characters are straight out of drama 101: newbie doctor doing the wrong thing that ends up harming a child (he thought he was doing a good deed, natch!), doctors stumbling onto the source of the problem.

Tomorrow night I'm attending a local production of YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN. This is one of the shows I auditioned for some weeks ago and didn't get it. It's the revised version of the show which I've never seen, so I'm anxious to see how the people who were cast do with the material and to see the new portions of the book which were added to that last Broadway revival..

Hmmmmmmm......DRJAY a regular photograph would be lovely.  I have photos of her homes in Washington DC and San Clemente in a nice frame and I could add a few of the North Orange Grove Av bungalow to them.

I would be happy to pay for film and processing.....but not the trespassing ticket you get if they wonder what you are doing.  They might not even be aware that they are living in the home of a BIG (in fact a 50-foot tall celebrity!) - and that knowledge I am sure would fascinate them!
