TOD sort of.....I got my copy of HERRINGBONE in the mail but haven't had a chance to listen yet.  Hope to do that over the weekend.

Mine didn't arrive at work, but I don't remember if the shipping address was my work or home.  Hopefully, I'll find out soon enough.  Of course, I could just log into Kickstarter and look.

;)

I ordered it on Amazon..

A strange thing is that people who Kickstarted are not seeming to be getting the CD earlier than those who pre-ordered from Amazon or some place like that.

The Kickstarter donors who are in the NY area and were able to come to the party were treated to quite an elegant do, with extraordinary efficient waiter service and food that came from the very best of the dishes from the 44 and X restaurant, and were handed their copy of the CD, so for the folks in the NYC area, it looks like BD and the label more than came through with flying colors.  A couple of Kickstarter donors had even trained in from Vermont and said enthusiastically that they were very happy with the whole event.

Hoping they can think of something "extra" to give, for the benefit of the Kickstarter donors who live away from the city, though.

Even if whatever that "extra" could be comes later, hoping they think of something.

I'm enjoying it.  I was listening in the car and forgot it there.  I'm going to have to bring it in the house.  I think I'm going to do some baking, so it would be fun to listen to while I bake

I woke up today with really watery eyes.  Don't know if I'm catching a cold or what, but I decided to get the house cleaned up.  So I got out the humidifier, cleaned it up and put a new filter in it.  It really helped in here. I still have more cleaning to do, but for now am just sitting

This year instead of getting presents for the cats, I went to the Humane Society and sponsored a couple cats.

For a second there, Cillaliz, I thought you were going to say you adopted a couple more cats.

I figured that.  Is your copy "a gorgeous six-panel digipak designed by Asaf Shakham"?  That's the description on Kickstarter, and the copy that I'm getting is supposed to be autographed.  Of course, mine also cost two and a half times what yours probably did...but I'm not complaining (a Maltby and Shire reference ;) ).

Maybe a second copy of the CD AND the autographed poster.  Wishful thinking, I know.

Ed Gaynes was not in the 1955 broadcast, I don't think.  I think he was in the color broadcast.

Yes, he was in the 1960 telecast.

And now, it's time for me to head to the theater.  It's our last performance for the first weekend.  We have some presold tickets, so that's good!  After tonight's show, we're having a cast party at the theater, so that'll go kind of late.

Be back...when I get back!

Back from Doug Haverty's holiday party.  Met a nice family there and invited them to our show tomorrow night and they're coming.

I'll have to look - it's still in the car, I ended up running the vacuum, changing the sheets on the bed and doing more cleaning.  Something in this house was making my eyes water. Since the Claritin took care of it, it must be an allergy.  Between the cleaning and the humidifier, I think it's a lot better in here.
