Many, many years ago when I was still single, I wrote this lyric, which Michael Silversher set to music.  I think the words were indicative of how people felt about dating way back then.

This weekend, I got inspired; decided to find some footage and turn "I Don't Want to Meet Him" into a music video.

Do singles still feel this way?

I enjoyed your video and the dog was cute :)

Good morning.  Had to be at church to set up the computer for a presentation at the 7:00am Mass, in which there is no music, but since I'm the one that deals with the tech in the church, I was there.  Now I'm sitting in a Starbucks doing some things on the internet and about ready to head back to said church for the rest of the morning.

Last night the DD and I dressed the house with holly bright and sprigs of mistletoe.   Actually, I dressed the house, the DD stayed in the bedroom asleep on the bed.  But I got some lights going, inside and outside, decorated the very small tree, and put out some cute decor.  I believe that will suffice for the festive-ness of the apartment this season.

It sounds festive.

Sunday evening greetings!  Today was our last Lima Sunday for 2014.  We did Lessons and Carols and the church folks gave each of us a nice book for Christmas.  Fr. Richard got a Bible, of course, and I got a new biography of Joan of Arc.

I had just read on FB that the post office is delivering priority mail today.  Immediately Keith called me to read Bryan's text, that his package had arrived.

Bryan wondered if it was perishable since it arrived on a Sunday.  I was able to explain why the delivery.

After Bryan responded I noticed an e between the F & B.  I typed a correction and sent it.  I then noticed it didn't send what I wrote.  While writing the 3rd text, that was also screwy, I finally figured out that Keith's phone must have this auto correct people are always complaining about.

I'm listening to the Chanukah Channel on Sirius XM.

The best I can describe it as is Jewish Gospel.

I don't even want to count how many hours I slept today. Probably 8 overnight and maybe 3 during the day.

He compares the different translations when interpreting scripture for his sermons.

But not cranky - the services were too uplifting and filled with awe for me to be cranky.        :)

It was a busy but fun weekend.  However, I do not feel rested and ready to return to a stressful work situation tomorrow morning.
