Well, you've read the notes, the notes were never-ending, and now it is time for you to post until the never-ending cows come home.

Good morning, all!  I will shortly head down to Toyland.

Last night, as I was looking for that post from 2013, I got to wondering about DRs Doug R and ArnoldBrockman, who's been away for a week now, if not longer.  I hope they are both well.

My friend from California is in the area (here sister lives in Fredericksburg, about an hour away).  I'm meeting her and her relatives in Old Town Alexandria for lunch.  She loves the "she-crab" soup that's served in a restaurant there.

It's an overcast Saturday.  I think last Saturday was undercast.  Why can't we ever just have a cast Saturday that is neither under nor over?

Good afternoon, all.

Spent a lovely day on the Indian River with a birding trip. Saw plenty of osprey, oystercatchers, pelicans, herons and more. No photos to speak of. Sadly.

I futzed and finessed for forty-five minutes before leaving this morning.  I really wasn't sure about anything I'd written yesterday, but it seemed good to me, but I did do a lot of rewriting, adding, moving and revising - more than usual.  I think I added at least a page-and-a-half and smoothed out a lot of stuff.  I've written two new pages, too, and will now relax for a bit, then resume.  My plan is six pages by six, and the other six by midnight.
