Cilla reading about the trial and your client moved me to tears.  I am proud to know you.

Thank you Jane, how nice of you to say that

You are welcome.  You could have been the heroine in a novel.

And at the end she walks off into the sunset with Callie Ricky and Boo bounding after her, lol

DR Cillaliz, thanks for the account of your client's case.

You're welcome.  I had a nice conversation with her today when I stopped by her house to give her a copy of the verdict form.  She said they all still had nightmares about the trial still going on last night. I'm sure they will get better now that it's over

Vibes to your client and her family.  I wish them a bright future.

Thanks Jane.  I really think it will be

I went to work today  but discovered I am both brain dead and really exhausted.  I think I live on adrenaline the whole time I'm in trial.  I'm just totally wiped out today. I'd call it a hangover, but I haven't had anything to drink.  I don't bounce back quite as easily as I did a few years back. So I did a few things and came home.  I've been sitting in my recliner all afternoon....and answering some email about work, lol.   Anyway, tonight Paul and I are going out for our Christmas dinner.  We never quite got around to it until now.   I've been thirsty for a Moscow Mule for about 2 weeks and haven't had one, so I'm looking forward to that

I understand that feeling all too well. I'm sure BK is feeling something of that after finishing his book. It takes its toll for a while.

I recommend a Moscow mule or two.  I'm feeling much better

Yes, one goes through this every time.  I'm lucky in a way that I'm directing this show.

Yes, I've gone through it every time.  This time was a little different because with no secretary I thought I needed to go right back to the office.  I'm glad I came home. Being there wasn't helping anyone

Tomorrow night, I'm going to a chamber of commerce dinner across the river in Nebraska.  I'm going as a guest of the local Spanish language newspaper.  It's the second time they've invited me to a chamber event as their guest.  This one should be fun.  There's a Beatles tribute band and a 60s theme.  You can wear 60s clothes if you want to.  I don't think I'm going to do that.  Just not in the mood and I'm not sure how many people in this group really dress up.  I'll still have fun.

...or you can think of it as a three-hour made-for-TV movie.

I'd read that he wanted to expand the story a bit and fix things that they didn't do right in the TV show.

A bit of casting info...the character Islington, who is an angel, is played by the newest Doctor, Peter Capaldi.

Tomorrow, I'm taking my whole department out to lunch because every year after our fiscal year roll-over, the Acquisitions Supervisor has taken out the department for lunch.  My first supervisor started the tradition and her successor (my predecessor) continued the tradition, so I also am continuing the tradition.
