I've been on the phone trying to recruit a nominating committee - no luck so far...

DR GEORGE it can also be an HR BEGONE lunch as well.

We did have a mini-HR-BEGONE-celebration during our lunch. ;)

We had a delightfully delightful lunch at the local Red Robin.  Because I have the RR Royalty card, I actually had enough points to get one of the burgers for free!  That was a nice bonus.

And at the end she walks off into the sunset with Callie Ricky and Boo bounding after her, lol

A perfect ending :)

Here's the latest with that corrupt LaCie disc:  several of my backups last weekend did not last and I have lost every backup from 2013.  It does bother me since you never know when a request for something will come down the pike.

Life goes on. I'm beginning to wonder if the universe is telling me it's time to die.

Still dealing with a minor sore throat. Had a nap earlier but managed to get a big load of work done. Thankfully, they let me work from home. They didn't want anything in case I'm contagious. And I understand.

Has anyone actually seen AMERICAN SNIPER?  There certainly is a lot of controversy over it.

I haven't, and I don't have any plans to do so.  I'm just not interested in it.

I really hadn't thought about it one way or the other.  All the protest are making me curious.
