From DR Jennifer:
Quote
It's not a site. It's 2 e-books to download for free.

I obviously read that wrong.  I was expecting more books to be added.

There is one Adult buzz books and one Young Adult buzz books for 2015.

Each e-book has 25-40 new books coming out that it has summaries and chapters for.

I think you would like the adult one. Besides the 40 books it also has a section at the beginning talking about tons more books coming out this year.

So, Oscar fans, the same three people -- Julianne Moore, Patricia Arquette and J.K. Simmons -- seem to be winning every single award going, and everyone says they're deserving of the Oscars. Does that take out any of the fun for you?

Love Moore and am glad Simmons is finally getting recognition, so I'm not questioning the performances here.

So, DR Elmore, how's the weather?

Everyone in the media is petrified: buses not running after 6pm, I think I just heard trains aren't running after 8, Amtrak's closing down, flights are canceled, and traffic's a mess as the commuters evacuate the city.

Sounds like the panic we experienced in Atlanta a year ago this week.  Of course, that was for a 2" snowfall...

Have I mentioned here that I'm going to Chicago this coming weekend?  It's the American Library Association Midwinter Conference, which I will attend, but I'm also looking forward to some solitude in a nice hotel.  Fly up Friday and back Tuesday.

If Bryan was back in Chicago I would consider meeting you there, oh wait it is winter-never mind ;)

Congratulations to DRs Jane and JRand on their recent milestones.  I see I'm closing in on one, but will still be not even halfway to their lofty level!

Thank you.  With every milestone I always feel like I talk too much.

I was thinking about you DR Ginny I just saw a whole shop of Disney  inspired Vera bags, bag pages, totes

Yesterday I cleaned out my purses and still have far more than I use.  It is almost time to replace my Vera Bradley bag.  What I like most about it is the built in wallet.

Right now that sounds overwhelming.  I'm still cleaning closets, shelves, etc and began a 600 page book.   Otherwise you are right, I would be very interested in this for both the adult and young adult.

Former DR Jose mentioned JetBlue offered him an earlier flight home from Chicago, at no extra cost, to beat the storm home.  He took it.

I could do that in Chicago this weekend, but it's not exactly ice cream weather.

It is always ice cream weather.  I have stood in the freezing cold shivering just for a scoop of Baskin Robbins.

Really.  What are the dates?  We will put them on the calendar.  I wish we could say plan extra time and come up to us only we don't know if we will still be here.  The house will likely go on the market on April 1st.  Thing is, the chances of actually selling the house are slim.  This house is great but one does need people to be out there shopping.  Fortunately we don't have to move.

If you are a Sherlock Holmes fan this article is very interesting, especially about the pipe and robe.  Be sure to watch the short clip of the silent film and the obviously talented actor playing Holmes.  At the end of the story you can hear a recording of the actor.
