But speaking of the name of today's posts, there was a commercial several years ago that used the song but they changed the lyrics, and they made them not be grammatically correct. The lyrics are, of course, "It was an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini, that she wore for the first time today."

But what they sang was: "She wore an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini, that she wore for the first time today."

The synopsis for "Night Will Fall" on the IMDb listing is "Researchers discover film footage from World War II that turns out to be a lost documentary shot by Alfred Hitchcock and Sidney Bernstein in 1945 about German concentration camps."

Within the first 15 minutes, they're showing some of the film that was shot, and it includes shots of many dead bodies...up close and without sugar-coating any of it. It's shows what I have never seen in most documentaries or movies. You really can't deny any of it after seeing this.

Thank you all for the performance vibes yesterday. The concert went really, really well. I think people were very moved. The concert celebrated liberation, so while there were dark elements, it started and ended in hope, after traveling through the central portion of the program.

It's a crisp sunny morning here in Florida, 53 degrees.

They are closing the schools. They are telling people to stay home and not drive their cars. People are running to the supermarket to stock up on food. Flights are being cancelled.

Last night, we watched DOUBLE INDEMNITY. I hadn't seen it in years.

It's not my favorite film noir. That honor goes to OUT OF THE PAST, but it is still certainly one of the great ones.

Also on the set was the 1973 television remake, which I'd never seen. It starred Richard Crenna, Samantha Eggar and Lee J. Cobb, who was terrific in the Edward G. Robinson role. But, after 30+ minutes, I turned it off. The movie itself was

Yesterday, I listened to his first pass of the first chapter and I'm very pleased with what he is doing.

Good morning, all!

The depression has landed, and I stayed in bed as long as I could. I finally dragged myself out of bed because i have obligations and I clearly inherited my dad's work ethic. Dr Slingshot, I don't know how you coped several years ago when you wee unemployed for so long. You were fortunate at least to have one person in the household still working.

So, I will continue on the Encores! job and hope that either the phone rings with wrk offers or the news that that damned Ohio property has sold.
