Went to the Cowboy Breakfast this morning. It's the world's largest cooked breakfast, according to the organizers, and it should draw about 70,000 this year because the weather is nice. I went, took my pictures and left. The length of the lines was too long even with them moving rapidly, so I actually didn't eat a thing this year.

Here's an image of the guy shoveling coal to fire up the cooking stations.

But I should talk.  I indulged in a few world's largest cooked breakfasts myself this past week.

I lay down for a couple of hours, but i had so much caffeine in my system that I lay there and vibrated. So, I got up, brushed my teeth, worked on the infamous memoirs, and I'm going back to bed.

BluRay:  Fury - I mostly agree with what DR DRUXY wrote yesterday.  It doesn't seem to based on any source material....and I don't think even John Wayne would have been shameless enough to present such heroics....but everybody did a good job performance wise....

Jeanne I was skeptical about the homeopathic method (oh yes,  I was skeptical) but I woke  this morning feeling  fine-  no sore throat,  no nasal congestion, no sneezing  just a very sore nose from the sneezing yesterday    I used the Zicam nasal spray and  Sambucol black elderberry cold & flu relief quick dissolve tablets

Elmore, if you can get your hands on these I highly recommend them.

I can't do the coupons. I guess I'd have to keep working.

The symphony is doing Strauss' La Valse and the Ravel concerto for left hand. Then there's plenty of dancing and judging a chili cook-off and the Super Bowl and I think that's enough.

Thanks, DR JRand!  I'm settled at my gate at Dayton International Airport with a nice chicken Caesar wrap in my bag for lunch on the plane.

Thank you. I guess I should learn what I'm hearing tonight. The Strauss pieces are Der Rosenkavalier First Waltz Sequence and Burleske, while the Ravel pieces include La Valse, Concerto for Left Hand and Valses nobles and sentimentales

I'm up, I'm up.  I was in bed for nine and a half hours, but only slept about seven, I think, despite the NyQuil.  Too much going on in the head.
