Some silly thing about buying a house instead of renting.

This is something he SHOULD have done many years ago. And I am so glad he didn't.

Jeanne I was skeptical about the homeopathic method (oh yes,  I was skeptical) but I woke  this morning feeling  fine-  no sore throat,  no nasal congestion, no sneezing  just a very sore nose from the sneezing yesterday    I used the Zicam nasal spray and  Sambucol black elderberry cold & flu relief quick dissolve tablets

Elmore, if you can get your hands on these I highly recommend them.

So glad you're feeling better, Vixmom.

Did the pharmacist mention to NOT take water with the Sambucol? Homeopathic remedies are never taken with water--you just let them dissolve in your mouth. Best not to eat or drink anything for 10 minutes before and after. But if you're DESPERATE, go ahead and take it.

Sambucol is a very handy remedy to keep on hand. You can ignore expiration dates on homeopathics, too; they never expire.

I looked up the side effects of Sambucol.  It may Act as a Diuretic so drink plenty of water, once it disolves.

DR elmore would want to speak to his doctor first.
Elderberry may lower blood sugar levels. Use caution if you have diabetes as this effect may increase your risk of hypoglycemia, which is when blood sugar levels fall too low. If you're currently taking blood sugar-lowering medications, taking Sambucol may increase the effectiveness of your medication. Symptoms of hypoglycemia include nausea, rapid heartbeat, hunger, shakiness and sweating.

I know about the symptoms of hypoglycemia & would be very careful trying this.

Of course, anyone taking medications should always check for interactions between holistic treatments and their meds.

Valses nobles and sentimentales

One of my absolute favorites, whether in the original piano version or the orchestrated. I believe Sondheim has remarked that he was heavily influenced by this piece.

I wondered if it was because they were renting, or he took a new job elsewhere.  Will they be moving far, not that it will be the same.

Well, I'm off to my parents' house for dinner.  And tomorrow (I think), I'm going to help them take some yard waste to the dump...hopefully, I won't have to drive my dad's little pick-up truck.  He smokes CONSTANTLY when he drive it and it smells awful, and I really don't want to be stuck in that for any amount of time. :P

Anyway, dinner should be good.  Be back later.

Had an interesting and very good rehearsal - got through all of act one, stopping and starting, and cleaning up.  I think when the actors are off book and we can start getting the rhythm and pace right, it's going to be very good.  All the musical staging works well.  The ONLY time actors are out of their chairs in this show are the musical numbers and any of the roleplaying games they do.  And that works kind of magically.  I've told everyone that the first act can not run longer than one hour, or an hour five at the most.

Then I came right home and had the Kritzerland rehearsal, which was also very good.  I think this show will be certainly one of the most tuneful we've had.

Then I got some of that Elderberry stuff and dissolved one already and will do so again before bed.  I'd already determined that Zicam and Afrin are basically the same thing and I have Afrin here.
