Ricky's follow up went well. he was a big chicken and it took him awhile to calm down tonight,  he's attacking my toes again. Which means he's better

Dinner at my parents' was delish.  My mom made Dampfnudeln...she made the "dumplings" (they're like plain sweet rolls) and the vanilla sauce.  That's not unusual for a German dinner.
