Poetic justice is a good phrase.  I'm told there is good karma and bad.  The people who were involved in my little brouhaha did not behave well.

DR Singdaw, Berners are supposed to be dry mouth and Echo was.  Like many larger Berners Sherlock drooled something fierce.  I always carried paper towels in my pocket for him, or for the people he drooled on ;D

Good morning, all.

Well, I wasn't able to completely avoid this becoming a cold, but I do believe it will remain a light one.  That said, however, I'm sick of this already.  My third cold since October?  It must be karmic retribution for something!

Feel better quickly!!!

Thursday morning greetings!  Back from my medical test with no reason to suspect the result will be anything but normal.  After last night's snow, the driving was OK, but walking was pretty tricky.

Glad you are home safe and the test went well.  I will be braving the rain in about an hour.  It really poured all night and morning.  I'm hoping this lighter rainfall lasts until I return home.

Spoke with the thyroid this AM and no correlation with what is happening with the knee. So as soon as WC approves it's new knee time.

Excellent, however, can they get the thyroid problem treated before the stress of surgery?

Instant Karma, the day on a winding mountain road this idiot drive kept attempting to pass us.  I kept blocking him in fear that he would crash and kill someone coming around a curve in the opposite direction.  Finally I let him pass.  About five minutes later my friend was all excited to see up ahead a policeman giving the idiot a ticket.

Shame on Hershey!!!  I will be finding the petition to sign and protest this.  They have forced a ban on Cadbury candy made in Britain vs the US and I can tell you it isn't as good when made here.

I've had the same pleasure on the highways around here.  Some of the best karma ever.  Always good for a mood picker-upper.  Love it!

And I, after some extra sleep in the recliner this morning (which turned out to be far better than any of the crappy sleep I got last night), am definitely feeling better.  I think all of my preventive measures this week, probably including the flu shot in the fall, are getting me through this one fast.  And of course the vibes!  Thanks, all for those!

A car incident happened to me years ago.  I was driving on the freeway, exiting to the right but in the left lane of the two-lane exit (hopefully that makes sense), and a bunch of kids passed me on the right and tried to get in front of me in the left lane.  However, right where the left and right exit lanes split, they hit a pothole as they were getting in front of me and blew out a tire!  They were able to stop safely, but they got what for. ;)

I just laughed and laughed!

There have been many times when I've wanted to see that happen, but have not yet been so fortunate.  The closest I've come is on the drive into Oxford, Ohio, when some hotshot passes me on the hilly, 2-lane road only to have me pull up right behind him/her at the traffic light on the edge of town.

I just washed my bedding and reassembled the bed.  i thought turning the mattress was going to kill me.  It certainly isn't making me stronger.
