It was a lot of fun and the actors were all very good. They switched between characters (when necessary) very effortlessly...for the most part.

There were a few moments that weren't exactly perfect, but either they handled them humorously or they actually might've been done on purpose. If that's the case, then the we're handled very well.

I was a follow spot operator for a local production in the 1990s, and I loved it.

I also saw a production in Portland, Oregon a couple of years later where they added not only dancers but MOTHERS!!

A friend of mine actually was the director/music director, so it was his idea.

Not too long after that, he mounted a production in Ohio and hired the dancers mothers, and had a big article in their local paper. The rights holders got word of the "additions" and promptly sent a ciece and desist letter. They had to fire the addditional cast members. SPOO!!
