I don't think the work thing would have bothered me so much if I hadn't been sandbagged by someone I've known for over 20 years and considered a friend.  Why do people do things like that?

BK seems to be approaching that very very round millstone of 80000.

Paul and I had to go to three places before we found a place to eat breakfast.  The lines were too long.  We ended up at our usual place

Then I went to the casino and lost the money I won a couple weeks ago, so I came home

Our dog Liam seems to be doing extremely well.  This is my first full day with him here, since I'd been at the tax office every other day since he joined us.

I have spent the day at a funeral. Well, sort of. After I set up the soundboard, I baked cookies for the small reception afterwards.

Man did it feel cold outside!   It's 15, but felt older than that.   I now have a downy woodpecker on the new suet I put out

Did I mention a friend of mine went birding near the Amazon jungle and there was wifi?   That just doesn't seem right

Miss Callie is sitting with me today.   She has become  very funny cat.  She sort of kept her distance for about 10 years, now she follows me around part of the time, comes to sit with me  and thinks every time I walk from room to room it's a cause for celebration with treats, funny girl

Had a lot of trouble with this site earlier, but I'm back.  Managed to take a shower and get dressed and now I'm watching figure skating on TV.

Good afternoon, all.

Having a hard time accessing site. This morning it was not available at all. Now I can download about half a page. It's faster on my phone.

Listening to McGlinn's Brigadoon. One of my favorites of his.

If I ever mention to you that I'm going to do gardening, tell me to forget it, mix a drink and do something I'm qualified for.

I was attempting to remove an unwanted volunteer tree when my butt backed into a window. Window broke and a shard cut the back of my leg.

Trip to the ER was fun as they're tearing up the road out front and redirecting traffic a long way around.

I'm okay but embarrassed.
