If I ever mention to you that I'm going to do gardening, tell me to forget it, mix a drink and do something I'm qualified for.

I was attempting to remove an unwanted volunteer tree when my butt backed into a window. Window broke and a shard cut the back of my leg.

Trip to the ER was fun as they're tearing up the road out front and redirecting traffic a long way around.

I'm okay but embarrassed.
Oh my!  I started to laugh until I read about the glass shard.....fast healing vibes to you!!!!

TOD:

Wink. Love that grapefruit flavor. And Canada Dry went and killed it. A few years ago, I discovered that Mexican Fresca, made with sugar, tastes similar, so the two or three times a year I allow myself a coke, as we called it, it'll be a Mexican Fresca.

I once accidentally broke a window when I accidentally backed into it with my butt.   I didn't get injured but it was embarrassing.

There was quite a bit of blood but thankfully next to no pain.

And I find it funny on some level, too

On the computer again - seems to be slow but better.  Hopefully by the end of this evening this madness will be over.  Thanks to everyone for the patience.

Listening to McGlinn's Brigadoon. One of my favorites of his.

I listened to the Jerome Kern Treasury.

I've finished up one of my Encores! tasks and I am exhausted.  I need to run to the corner bodega for a few things.

I'm about to have my left-over chicken from dinner last night for dinner tonight.

Anthony is watching Miss Fisher something or other on Roku.

Thank you, all.

Victim, I covered over the window with plastic and left a message about getting it replaced. The good news is that it was a storm window. And there's another pane of glass inside, so it's not open and exposed to the elements.

Back from having a patty melt.  I'll now relax until I mosey on over to the theater at six-thirty.  Have to set the level for our pre-show announcement.

I finally got in, and I'm on page 2.  I wonder if that means my earlier post actually posted.  I'll have to go back and look.

Well wishes to DR Ginny and family, DR Cilla and anyone else who needs it.

I had better stay healthy, at least until after I return.
