Well, you've read the notes, you know why the notes and the change of topic were late, and now it is time for you to post until the late cows come home.

Thanks for the concern, all is well with the site and if we're not on the new server by this evening, I'll be looking for a new web host.

My car would not start this morning since it is so cold....even though it is in the carport.  So I will try again a bit later.....time will tell.

BK,

Glad you're okay.  I was just about to call somebody and ask them to drive over and check on you.

Good morning, all! I'm a little down this morning; it's the eighth anniversary of my dad's death. Who'd think I'd still be waiting for my idiot brothers to sell a piece of property after all this time. My memories of that last week with him in Ohio, because of the terrible weather, are how quiet Randy's and Jo's house was, sitting at Jo's computer and posting each event to all of you, and sitting beside him and waiting for the blade to fall.

Well, it's hard to be an orphan at 60.

Sunday morning greetings!  Church in Lima was called off for today due to severe cold and wind.  I'm still kind of shaky, so will probably stay in another day.

DR Cillaliz, did the program credit me for that orchestration of "Feed the Birds"? I'm sure it was mine, but she was so difficult about paying me for the work in 2007 that for all I know she's now using another arrangement.  I'm happy that it sounded good and that you had a great time.

How was Geoff?

I am staying inside today.  I've got some Encores! work to lay out and things to prep fr my meeting with Joshie tomorrow.

{{{{{Hugs}}}}} for DR Elmore.

I remember that week well, because Richard was away at the seminary in Wisconsin.

I'm saying band rehearsal.  Our MD is saying orchestra rehearsal.  I wonder who's correct!    :D

Just balanced 2 checkbooks - mine and Mom's.  Balancing Mom's is very satisfying because it was a mess when I took possession of it 2 months ago.  She hadn't been entering her automatic deposits and withdrawals and I finally have it the way I think a checkbook should be.  Online access helps...

How was Geoff?

The program just said "Musical numbers will be announced from the stage"  or something like that.  And they really didn't announce much other than giving background on some of the songs or saying "This was my grandmother's favorite" without saying what the song was (it was "I'll Be Seeing You" if that's the title).   So, no, you weren't credited, but neither was anyone else.

Geoff was wonderful.  He did a couple songs himself and then they did two or three duets which was a lot of fun
