Yesterday, nine pages with the site continually down.  Today three, with it up most of the time.  Go know.

Had a very good matinee with our understudy on - a lot of fumfering and a few forgotten lines, but the others covered and the gal did really well.

We only had about twenty-two people (first week matinees are the toughest) but boy were they loud and demonstrative, and our two show stoppers got the same kind of reaction they did with a full house.

Dead tired here, or I'd stick around for a while.  But it's time for sleep.  It's partly from schlepping around out in the cold today.  These brutal temperatures are as wearying as anything.

Today, I went to my sister's and put up a new shower curtain bar and some IKEA towel holders in my niece's bathroom.

I had to buy the shower curtain rod (with my sister's Home Depot card).

I then when to Jimmy Johns and had a sub...#16 Club LuluŽ:  Fresh sliced turkey breast, bacon, lettuce, tomato, & mayo.  It was a little bland but still good.

Thanks for the concern, all is well with the site and if we're not on the new server by this evening, I'll be looking for a new web host.

I thought that these sorts of problems weren't supposed to happen with this web host. :-\

So glad to read that INSIDE OUT had such a successful opening.  Congratulations to all involved!

I hope we get through the evening.  From what I'm now being told, a piece of equipment at the data center has been malfunctioning.  They're getting the replacement tomorrow and our guy is going down there to personally configure it and install.  Once that happens we should be fine.  It's not just us, it's all the sites they host.  This is the part of the Internet I loathe.

Good morning, all! I'm a little down this morning; it's the eighth anniversary of my dad's death. Who'd think I'd still be waiting for my idiot brothers to sell a piece of property after all this time. My memories of that last week with him in Ohio, because of the terrible weather, are how quiet Randy's and Jo's house was, sitting at Jo's computer and posting each event to all of you, and sitting beside him and waiting for the blade to fall.

Well, it's hard to be an orphan at 60.

I managed to make a page in the winter 2015 Miami University alumni magazine.

Congrats, Larry!  Hope it leads to many opportunities!

the big SNL 40 is tonight.  I'm recording it, not sure I want to watch the whole thing.  And I'm very anxious to watch Downton tonight

I'm watching it now.  I didn't get home until about 8:10, so I missed the beginning.  It's supposed to be three and a half hours long, but the rebroadcast on Friday is scheduled for only three hours.

Louis Jourdan has died.  A long life, he was 93, but he'll always be Gaston in GIGI for me.

I'd just read that when I checked my e-mail.  Wow...93.  And he had been married to his wife for more than 60 years!  She died just last year.

Kismet has recovered. He has to wear a cone so he won't lick. He hates wearing it. Just wants to be snuggle next to me.

Very good news, Mike!

I used to see Louis Jourdan all the time at Virgin Records on Sunset.  He always looked great.
