Anson Williams figures prominently in The Big Voice: God or Merman?

I wonder if he knows.

Good home hunting vibes to PennyO.  I think  the way she was treated is horrible and I hope she does take that woman to court.

Speaking of home hunting... I decided to start my search today. I forgot how many interesting (read "strange") people you meet on such a quest. I've already met a man who decided to build a house on half of his property -- so he did. He told me he had never been "a lord" before (meaning landlord). I have another appointment to see a place on Fruitland in just over an hour. I'd like to live on Fruitland. The jokes would just never stop. I'm laughing even as I type.
Of course, having a dog makes house hunting very difficult. The man on Fruitland said he would accept a small dog. I told him my dog weighed 50 pounds. He said that's not his idea of small, but we could talk. I can see that this is not going to be easy...

Thanks Danise.

I’m back with an important question.  I’m packing just a little roll on bag and can’t take much for my week trip.  Are jeans okay for the theater?

"Only in America!"

I'm sure the lady with the Tutti Frutti Hat could have been Mayoress of Fruitland!

Thanks for the laugh!!

Panni at least you have a place with nice people while you look for something else.  I remember the difficulty of finding a place to rent with cats and dogs.  Good luck.

I took three years of typing in high school (wow...I graduated 20 years ago in 1984!) and was taught two spaces after a period.  Now "they" say one.  Too damn bad.  I'm typing two spaces.  And if "they" don't like it, they can lump it! :P So there! ;D
Damn they.  Damn they all to hell.

The way people dress these days for theater you could show up in your underwear and no one would give it a second thought (well, SOMEONE might but not most).

I'd walk up and tell them "I'm sorry, but auditions are over."

So true! EVEN in Paris, France!

People don't dress up anymore!
They tend to... dress down, I guess!
No "self-respect"?......

Years ago we went to London and were very excited to go to the theater.  Keith was one of two men in the entire audience wearing a tie, let alone a suit.  He didn’t see the point in continuing to be uncomfortable in a tie and took it off.

Did he take it off too? :o

Big news for Dear Reader JRand54!!!

Step 1 of my little three part mission is accomplished!

I should be able to attend to Step 2 (development of the photographs I took today) on Monday or Tuesday

If you send me a private message with your mailing address, I will be able to complete Step 3.

By the way (BTW in internet lingo), I was expecting ceiling heights accommodating of a fifty-foot tall resident, but was disappointed.

Confidential to Dear Reader Jose:  That was not a driveway or even a private road.  Believe it or not, what you saw is typical of the width of many of the streets that run through the Hollywood Hills.

Oh, people have changed there, i've heard!
And they all go to the theater in the nude!

It is my defective genes that are taking me to Bethesda with the bonus of NY.  I'm sure glad they are good for something. ;D

He might have taken the jacket off.  ::)

Levi and Guess jeans.  The Guess ones are really cute with lots of pockets and zippers.  Both are made from a stretch material so they can expand with me while I indulge in lots of goodies on this trip. :)

The people who administered the MRI called me right after I posted and wanted to know if I wanted to come in earlier at 10:30.  Outside of the racket, for which I used earplugs, it wasn't an unpleasant experience.

Did you have one of those machines that has open sides.  Or the one where you're going in a tunnel?  I had the latter, and it is not pleasant if you're claustrophobic.

Also, I don't remember being allowed to use earplugs.

To me the deafening sound, was the biggest surprise.  I had no idea that an MRI would be like that.

They should warn you cause I have never heard anything that loud.  And I was going in for having a migraine!

I have always used 2 spaces after a period.  But I took typing lessons on a typewriter.  I find it looks too squished with only one space.  But I've been noticing a few people on HHW only use one space.  Interesting.

Oh, I believe the loud noise is just like the one of a Rock Concert! ???

The only tunnel I enjoy is the Tunnel of Love!

Hummm.... the Men in White are around again! :(

Jennifer you should have had ear plugs.  I will have them on Monday.  I find a mild tranquilizer does wonders.

My jeans will be worn with a nice top and a jacket to dress them up a bit.  Now to see if I everything I put out to take will fit in the little bag.

François  ;D as usual.
