T.O.D.

I like most all animals, although some I prefer behind bars or thick glass.  Bugs I try to ignore, because I know they are good for the eco-system, but I would rather not see them.  Reptiles?  Forget it.

I watched (well fast-forwarded through) the Oscars after work.  I really enjoyed Lady Gaga and especially Julie Andrews.

As I pointed out to the Cox rep, I'm using able to get to the site using my mobile hotspot connection, so it can't be my computer. And it seems logical that it's not HHW.  But what do I know?

Any drummers in our midst?

I'm not sure I believe that with the drummers I know.  Was the study conducted by drummers?

Or a Red Panda!  Talk about cute!

As you all know I love animals.  Mostly cats and dogs inside. Not a big fan of birds as they used to dive bomb me when I was a kid, even had a red wing blackbird grab my hair when I was on my bike and I just don't trust them....but I do feed them and don't mind them outside and away from me.

I like almost all the critters. I spent a lot of time looking for them. Not too fond of rattlesnakes, though.

I like most animals outside, including the deer.  I love squirrels as I think they are brilliant in how they can figure out how to get food.  Not so smart on the power lines occasionally, but in general, they are quite smart.   I liked raccoons until they tried to rip into my house.

For the most part, my family and I have only had cats.  Before I was born, my parents got a poodle for my sister, and when I was in either middle or high school, they thought that a black lab would be a good present for me.  WHAT WERE THEY THINKING??  Anyway, they gave away both dogs to people that they knew and knew that they (the other people) could take care of them.  No more dogs for me!  I will get another cat, but (as I've said before), I need to clean my place before I get another one or two.

I grew up with dogs.  We had cats but my sister had toxoplasmosis and they blamed my cat, so we had to get rid of the cat.  I wanted to get rid of my sister instead, ;)    We had a cocker/pointer and a toy poodle.  I loved them very very much and I'd like a dog again, but I feel like I need to be home with a dog more than I can be.

George, it's great to have 2 cats...or 3....they keep each other company when you are gone.

I caught up on all the postings from yesterday.

Watch the first three hours of the oscars but speed through them as I already knew the outcome. I had my dvd extend the recording for an extra hour but it didn't record. It cut out just as Eddie Murphy began to speak.

One of my mom's friends hit my one of my cats with a car and he died.  I don't think I ever really got over that. She felt terrible, but to this day I still think of it when I see her. And that was about 43 years ago!

As for the screeners being on EBay.

There was an actor who was expelled from the Academy because his screeners turned up on Ebay. He lent them to someone and he was selling them. Carmen Caridia (Something like that)
