I always liked Nimoy, except when he sang.

One of my co-workers just told me. :(

I'm going to watch some Star Trek this weekend.

I was very nervous this morning. My nine year old niece was in a public speaking competition at her school. In each class every teacher chose one person to present in French and one person to present in English.  There are 4 classes in her grade.  So there were 8 kids from her grade and 8 kids from the grade below.

Usually she does well under pressure. But it's still hard not to be nervous, especially since she had some issues while practicing it last night.

I was happy when my sister called to say that she did it the best she's ever done it.  Her English teacher was so happy as was her English teacher last year.  She got second place and got a plaque and a Chapters gift card. She was very pleased with herself. I am looking forward to watching the video.

Congrats to your niece, Jennifer!

AND I have been cast in a new musical written by some theatre/music majors at DePauw.  It is titled ACCOUNTANTS.......I am the janitor who skulks around the offices, and at the end of the show I am revealed to be an undercover FBI agent who has been getting the good on the embezzlers and crooks.....  That happens at the end of April after ANTIGONE.

SPOILERS!!  >:(  Now you've RUINED it for me!!

I'm up, I'm up - I slept okay - kept waking up frequently so I don't really know how much sleep I got.  I've been up since ten, but in bed.

The Amazing Race continues this evening.

I forgot the opening episode was 90 minutes last Wednesday, so I missed a lot of it.  I will probably watch the first hour or so On Demand before the new episode airs tonight.

This is Blind Date.....some of the teams were introduced at the starting line.....so this should be an interesting cycle.  Best of all, no REALITY STARS or pseudo-celebrities are included in the mix.

PART B

Turns out I was incorrect, one of the teams includes Jonathan Knight....one of the New Kids on the Block.  :D

LOL.....I corrected before I refreshed....DR JENNIFER is correct.

But he's not going around acting like a big star.  I wasn't sure what i would think of the blind date aspect, since the premise of the show is to take two people in existing relationships and have them go around the world. So by doing this it really took away a main component of the show.  But I think it will be interesting.  i think the fact that they don't know each other will come into play in later episodes when they need to really work together.

Well, I'm home for most of the day today.  I think taking allergy pills is worse than the allergy, lol.  I just didn't feel like working so I went in, checked the mail, checked my messages and brought a bunch of stuff home I can work on here if I want to....so far I haven't wanted to.  I think part of my problem is the remodeling they are doing down the hall from my office.
I feel much better at home than at work.

I think they are almost done with the remodeling.  The paint and stain are done and the carpet looks like it should be in by today.  Can't wait until it's done

I also just wanted to take a couple days off.  I used to travel in February or March and I'm not anymore.  When I don't travel, I don't take time off.....so, the past couple days I am!

I love it when I call people and they say "I stopped by and you weren't in your office".   Like I didn't know I wasn't in my office, lol.  After I explain that I sometimes work in court and sometimes work at home, people get it and call

I was just reading about the history of my ANTIGONE character....Tiresias.....because he offended the goddess Hera, he spent 7 years living as a woman.....he was a high priestess and married and had children.....when he offended her again, she changed him back into a man.

When Hera and Zeus were arguing about who got more pleasure from lovemaking, they called upon him to settle the argument.  Tiresias said women.....Hera was enraged and blinded him......to make up for it.....Zeus gave him the gift of prophecy.

That's SOME backstory!

I basically take the pills at bedtime.

Vibes they will soon be done with the remodeling.
