I put the sour cream in the frig, hoping for a miracle, and it didn't help.

And stirring didn't help?

I did it enough times to know it didn't help.  Odd how grainy it is too.  It smells good but no way am I baking with it.

DR JANE - she said she thought the DP was revenge....so it reality she was NOT DP qualified and shouldn't have been on the jury.

Then she did say something-lol

Toss that sour cream, DR Jane.  It might not be "actually" bad, but the consistency sounds horrible and it would either be a total distraction or it wouldn't work in a recipe.

The #1 song on Thursday, May 5th, 1966 was:

And now on to other matters:

They just cancelled our show tonight!

Weird, because where I live, twenty miles north of there, the snow has been pretty much a non-event.

Unfortunately the receipt went out in the trash today.  I might try and take it back to the store tomorrow.  I just purchased it yesterday to make the cookies.

Good morning, all!  Another bad night of sleeping, and more weird dreams, the last was something about the Drama Book Shop and co-workers there I haven't seen in years.

I will spend today at Chelsea Music proofreading scores for a Las Vegas musical based on the bigoted, redneck DUCK DYNASTY, which offends me politically, but my whore side says take the money and run. My philosophy has been, if you're going to be a whore, at least be a smart one.

I don't have no magic mugs.....  :(

My dad has a Star Trek mug.  When you had the hot liquid, Kirk, Spock and Scotty (or maybe Bones, too) disappear from the transporter room.  But it's so old now...the picture no longer changes when you add hot liquid.

Apparently Norwalk CT and everywhere along the coast is getting slammed.  So that's why our show isn't going on.  It's too close to all of that.

And if this means Long Island, too, poor vixmom!

See, I don't want to be on a jury, because what if I really really really felt strongly about guilt/innocence. I don't want the rest of the jurors to pressure me to change my vote. It can get mean in there.

This is my "throwback thursday" offering of the day.  Circa my birthday, 1952, in Johnnston SC.

I think expressing your opinion and why would be different than putting pressure on someone.  Of course, as with most things, pressure is what people do.

You know, maybe it's the smart part that I never got right. I might have been richer than I am.

The answer to my Stephen Sondheim trivia question.

What did Stephen Sondheim do on the Bogart film "Beat the Devil"

Answer: He gave the "clap" to director John Huston.

He was the uncredited "Clapper Boy".

For Throw-Up Thursday, here's a picture of me after I have been Oprah-fied. I think it captures something indefinable about me:
