Left here 5+ hours ago for my doctor's appointment and went from there directly to the book sale. Helped close up at 8pm, picked up a pizza, and am now enjoying that with Richard and a glass of wine.

Yes, DR Cillaliz, but what I'm doing this weekend is nothing compared to the backbreaking collecting, sorting, and pricing that Libby, Chris, Sharon, Tina and their committee have been doing since October.

We went out for dinner and I noticed the lake had more water in it and then I realized, except for walks, I haven't driven anywhere since Tuesday.

I don't know if john g would approve but I had a sudden inspiration to add a cup of brown sugar to the chili. I have not decided yet if it is interesting and intriguing the contrast of the touch of sweet with the slow heat after or if I just ruined the batch

It looks like the case I was so upset about being blindsided on is going to be resolved on Monday so we won't go to trial after all. Out of 8 codefendants, we're the last. In a way I really wanted to try this case, but the deal is very good for my client and she's interested in it. It will mean that my schedule has loosened up enough for me to get my work done without being totally stressed out about it. That's a good thing.

That being said I have now watched all three seasons of House of Cards and was very dissatisfied with Season 3.

I loved the original House of Cards trilogy that the BBC put out back in the late 80's or early 90's

I'm winning the battle. Still haven't slept more than about an hour at a time without waking up and coughing, but maybe that will change this weekend. Today was the last day on my Z pack and I think it worked. I've got some catching up to do at the office tomorrow or Sunday, but with the trial settling I no longer have to write the 9 motions in limine with briefs I was going to do this weekend. If it falls through, I'll be doing that next weekend

I went to Amazon and discovered I had enough thank you points from a different credit card to buy the waffle plates for my new griller. I think this means I've used my credit card too much
